The giveaway closed yesterday (21st Feb) and finallyyyyy we have the winners! It was a tough choice to make, so tough that we now have 6 winners instead of the planned 5 because there was no way I could drop one person!

I would have sent you messages but none of you has the messaging option on your channels.

My plan is to send out all winnings by tomorrow and sing Alelluia on this one. 😉

    3. Then you will see the message icon there, click it to send me a message.
🔴I am sure this message icon is on desktops/laptops, not sure where it is on mobiles.
If you have any issues, please let me know and we will look for another way to do this.

Thank you all for taking part! There were so many awesome comments but I had to choose only 5, now 6!
I owe a few people cookbooks. I have my own criteria for this one. I will contact you when I am ready to send. If you are already active on my Facebook page and I have made the connection with you over there, I will contact you there.

    Bah-byeeee See you sooooon!

  2. VERY IMPORTANT – THE COLORED WATER, WOOD WAS TREATED WITH A CHEMICAL INSECTICIDE SPRAY FROM TERMITES . THIS CHEMICAL IS EXTREMELY TOXIC, IT CAUSES HEALTH PROBLEMS, INCLUDING CANCER. IT ALSO KILLS ANY MEDICINAL BENEFITS OF WOOD. THE FUMES WILL EXPOSE THE ONE APPLYING IT TO CHEMICALS. PLEASE, THROW IT AWAY!!!!!! IT ABSOLUTELY WILL NEVER WASH OUT OF THE WOOD! IT CANNOT BE POUNDED OUT TOO BECAUSE WOOD IS NOT STONE AND WILL ABSORB IT, IT WILL BECOME ONE WITH IT!!!!! PLEASE, SPREAD THIS INFORMATION !!!!!

  3. Thank you soooooooo much for this video.
I actually clicked it for the mortar and pestle part.
My new mortar and pestle have been washing off that red colour all the time.
I didn't know I have to soak it that long….
I have been so "depressed" 🙍 as to how to make the colour stop washing off…
Came on Google and YouTube searching for "how to start using a new mortar and pestle", "how to finish or file a new mortar and pestle " (LOL!….am I preparing for a carpentry job, tho?🙆) and "how to wash a new mortar and pestle", and the likes….Almost got frustrated until one of the searches suggested your channel.
…and then I clicked, hoping you would say something about it in passing…..AND! YOU! DID!💃💃💃💃

This is quite an eye opener!
    Danke!🙏

  4. Thank you so much for sharing. Hope things are going well. Since I saw this mortor and pestle, I have been looking everywhere to find, and nothing compares. I wish I could travel there to buy. If you ever seen the seller again, recommend them to sell international. I also am redefining my kitchen. Thanks again. Be blessed

  5. flo just catching up on your old video. you know i actually subscribed this year when i saw your videos which state. (Follow me to work James Bond style). have a nice day.xxxx

  6. I know the give away is over but I wanted you to know. Because you your recipes, I keep a Nigerian make fed. I’m from a small town of Texas and clueless of Nigerian meals. Let me tell you I followed your online recipes and was clueless to your YouTube. Ohhhhhhh honey glad I found you here.

  7. Hi Flo! I’m from Mexico and really love your recipes and lovely personality. Your happiness is contagious!! I’ve been following you like four or five years ago. The video that made me subscribe to your channel, was “Peeled beans porridge” from “Nigerian kids recipes” list. Thank you for all your tips, delicious recipes and more 🤗

  8. Chaii Aunty Chy this give away no reach me oo! how on earth did i not have subscription to watch earlier and pack my cookery stories on Nigerian Recipes? Aunty Chy you are doing well, Congrats to the winners ee no easy.

  9. In 2011 just having my twins in Florida,on your channel was where I learn to make puff puff, chin chin and the Nigerian meat pie. I couldn’t thank you enough. God bless you and yours forever dear🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

  10. This is late (but it doesn’t matter lol) Congratulations Aunty Flo, thank you so much for being an amazing cook, especially the way you explain everything as to why you use the methods you do. The first video that made me subscribe?, that’s hard because there were many recipes and even when I was already subscribed, I’d unconsciously subscribe again. Also there are tips that you share that no other Nigerian food vlogger shares especially tips for pregnant women, like the alternative to potash. I appreciate everything you have been doing and may God continue blessing your hands, which are the symbols of your labour In Jesus name, Amen. Oh yes I have one question too lol. I cook for a friend who is pregnant and she’s craving pepper soup, I’ve been told there are certain spices, which are not good. Which spices are those? or should I not cook it for her at all?. Thank you Aunty Flo 😁

  11. Chai! I missed o… Thanks for your generosity. I hope there'll be a next time.😂 The fist video I watched was how to prepare fried rice. I was searching for a better a way to make it. And I loved the way you explained it even on your website. After reading the article on fried rice and watching the video I went straight Nigeria jollof rice and then Nigerian stew, I just go addicted I glued myself to reading and watching. Soon after I couldn't resist it I subscribed, searched for you and Facebook and followed you. Down till this day I always enjoy your videos. My cooking skills are now close to perfection. And then your trips to Nigeria and the market oh! I love those videos. I feel like am in Nigeria when I watch them. I can't thank you enough. You're simply the best!😍😘
