Why does Semrush's keyword research start with keywords you're already ranking for?

What about the fresh websites that aren't ranking for anything?
This guide needs to be updated tbh.

@jimmycooper117

Why are you estimating the cost? what are we to do with this bit of information?

@henrythomas7112

I extremely like the video, man. Very helpful and informative. Thank you very much. It is presented so well too. Great, positive work.

First i am confused but after watch your tutorial i am feeling 😁

@TrioSEO10

SEO done wrong can bring disastrous results to your website — and we surely don't want that! It is important to know which keywords to use and how to use them to get the top spots on SERPs, as well as to win a stable flow of your clients. This step-by-step keyword tutorial is a life saver!

I enjoyed the lecture, but I have a question. In the previous lecture, you said that if there are two or more pages with the same keyword, there may be an encroachment problem. If I create a new page again with a keyword that already has a Google ranking on my site, which is the topic of today's lecture, there is a Google encroachment problem. Is there any? Or, rather than writing a new post with existing keywords, should I upgrade and revise it?

@olumuyiwalafe7768

Thank you so much for your eloquence 👍👍👍👍👍

@RiseAndInspire365

So should i write content around low hanging fruit keywords?

what to do when you do SEO for a country where majority if specific keywords are under 10? they don't even show majority of keywords under 10 so i need to use gtp a lot for under 10 keywords, because semrush doesnt give me ideas

@Butdd-yx9qj

@nurjayabinmusa

@antoniobey4459

If I want to gather between 50-100 keywords, when I type SEO for example, I take 50-100 keywords from there? (With a low KD of course) or should I change the word SEO in the keyword magic tool and choose another word in a similar niche to diversify my keywords?

@ferdous_khalifa

This tutorial has massively boosted my confidence in keyword research! The 3-step process was not only simple to grasp but also incredibly effective. I’m feeling more assured and ready to dive deeper into the world of SEO. Keep it up! 👏👏

@janeenwright5743

Great video with valuable content! You explain it in a way that is clear and easy to understand – very helpful.

@EdCatlett

I'm sure this is a lovely video if somebody already knows the seemingly endless acronyms but I do not so I didn't even make it past 5 minutes. When did it stop being general practice for someone to say a full phrase then cite the acronym for the rest of the time. For that matter how much time is really saved with acronyms in a YouTube video vs just saying the phrase so everybody can understand it?

@jeremystone5710

I dont understand your point at 10:55 in the video on target word count. Can you explain

@Save_The_Bees_

Hi, thank you for your video. When you suggest to use the magic tool, would you recommend broad match, phrase match, exact match or related? Thank you.

@amycrosby2196

I am new to SEO and you go so fast I can't keep up. I will need to watch this video several times to take notes. It is all very overwhelming.
