Kenyan woman detained in Egypt over expired visa

The family of Linet Makena, a young Kenyan lady from Meru is pleading for help so as to have their daughter released from an Egyptian detention centre. Makena, who left Kenya in 2018 to work in Egypt, now faces a dire situation after her visa expired and she was arrested during a crackdown on illegal migrants.
