Kenya Shilling gains against the dollar

The Kenya shilling gained ground against the dollar on Tuesday, thanks to the dollar inflows from the government’s sale of an infrastructure bond and subdued importer demand. The shilling closed at 156 shillings 61 cents per dollar, representing a gain of eight shillings on the greenback over the past one week.
