  1. President Ruto has demonstrated that he is the CIA American puppet. He has raised this tax hike to pay his masters in Washington. This President must be removed by Kenyans now. Enslavement and imperialism by western powers must be ended now…

  2. There were no rubber bullets all the bullets were live bullets ruto doesn't care about the public all he cares about is money
In the town area today there were snipers on the tall buildings ruto just wants us dead

  3. Hot take: I don't see how increasing tax on sugar is a bad idea? It would force people to eat healthier foods. Not like most Kenyans need it, but still.

  4. Such protests took place all over Europe. The farmers' protest. You also seem to have forgotten the Trucker protests in Canada. Whenever people realized that they had no reason to be afraid of the Elite and that they had nothing to lose. The elite had to give up the law to increase the order and take away people's freedom. THIS IS A WAR BETWEEN THE RICH ELITE AND ORDINARY POOR PEOPLE. And if you only know the rich elites who are digging bunkers and hiding on islands, people will find you wherever you are, you will be brought before the people and punished for everything you do today

  5. We are witnessing the impact of decades of corruptions. Now they want take the little income of the poor and pay off the so called loans.

  6. This shown that something was wrong with social arrangement and education system in Kenya. Kenyan still in poor standard in education,School, housing system, work jobs, food security.

  7. Edith is great but I wish she could have given numbers!!!!

Many Kenyans are going to have to live off of $150/month for rent, food and electricity!

Others with families are gonna be on $400/month with children and not counting school fees and healthcare. We can't all be tech developers.

  8. kenya is going through exactly what we are going through in zambia, high cost of living, load shedding, lack of functioning opposition parties, looting and insults from oir leaders, only difference is we are not protesting yet

  9. The Kenyan president William Ruto has resulted to killing innocent protesters, looting public funds, grabbing public land while authorizing abductions of human rights activists and using bribery, blackmail and brute force to pass a contentious finance bill

  10. Africa needs its own system of government that is representative of the culture and traditions of its peoples not the borrowed systems that it presently operates which continually stifles the growth and aspirations of its citizens.

  11. We also have faced the same problem. Heavy taxes have been imposed on us by the government but people remain silent because they know major two elections are around the corner and people are ready to topple the present bloody government.
