  1. I love Joselyn and most of her opinion but in this case she is being close minded, the lady in green has a point, in church there are different kind of people going there to hill and there might be a rapist who is trying to redeem themself and you go there with short dress and boobs out, of cause you will obvious distract them and it is not a woman fault to be raped but you cant just go to a lion forest and expect not to be eaten, I this Joselyn is missing the point here

  2. Well! Most Christians today are doing religion and not Christianity!! Christianity means what? To be Christlike When Christ came, he said he came for the sinners!! When putting on clothes, you need to ask your self, if it was Christ, would he dress the way am dressing? Dressing is very important in Christianity!! A saying says, the way you dress, so shall you be address!! For instance, your going to see Queen Elizabeth of England, will you dress inappropriate? So why should your breasts be Outside, Wearing a very slim and tight dress!! To go to Church? (well if you feel comfortable and your conscience is fine with it, then it's okay)
As Christians, we need to do things that Christ would do and will be proud of us!! Let's be sincere Christians and embrace love!!!
Shout-out to Joselyn Dumas I love you overdose ☺
    Your doing well
    Blessings

  3. I do agree that religion is institutionalized and used as a means of control for its members. That’s why I preach relationship and spirituality over religion. Re the way of dressing in church, the Bible does say judge not unless he be judged. I feel like as Christians we’re not all meant to dress or act the same. God directs you by way of ur conscience, so it’s not in our place to judge someone else because they don’t dress like us. If you have a relationship with God, your conscience will be your conviction of what’s acceptable and what’s not for you. The relationship should be personal, just like how God blesses us with different gifts. It’s not that a preacher is better or more holy than me, that’s just what God blessed him with. It’s the same in our attitude and appearance. I got baptized in a 7th day church where there are so many doctrinal beliefs and rules and I was so miserable because I resented “religion” and felt it was stifling and I always felt guilty. Since I switched churches, I now more freely worship God and our relationship is the best it’s ever been. Yet, I don’t ascribe to the rules of my home church. Relationship over religion.

  4. religions recommendations are there to guide us through our journey in this life to be our best version . As the Woman in green said it's like a map that shows us good ways to take. But we know that we are only humans and are not prefect so Let's not do the work of God, we are not supposed to judge others. He is the only Judge. The main point there wich require spirituality is to believe the Unicity of our Creator and to know that HE IS and through His will we are. So He knows us better than we do know ourself. In Islam a focus is put on the intentions first before the actions . So for me this is the point let's cultivate Love and Gratitude and try to do all good in His sake . Even appreciating and taking care of the body, the soul , the loved ones , the opportunities… He gives us is part of the adoration. His is limitless so as His doors to get closer to Him. So let's focus on our relationship with God wish is unique as Its Unicity, instead of judging other' we have to pray His mercy.
Let's respect each other's differences and as we say in French: " Que chacun balaie devant sa porte!".

  5. Good conversation ladies. However, my thing is why do we condemn church for trying to set a standard, yet complain about the dysfunctions in our society. Jocelyn, would you allow your child grew up without a standard. Your dressing should be modest and not seductive and distracting like one of your guest rightly said. God is a holy God. Imagine the world without laws, standards? We can see the consequences of Lawlessness in Africa first hand. Ladies we can debate the language of rape all we want, but I was raised as a woman not to put my self in a situation where I become vulnerable to a demon!! People are limited by Thier understanding!!!

  6. I think Joselyn was biased in this discussion because she was more interested in the afro lady's views so she was agreeing with her more and interrogating the lady on the right. But then this show has an informal setting , like a discussion between friends not an interview. So its normal, I don't see it as wrong.

  7. uhmmm these religious people always target the women by saying "you will seduce the brothers everywhere" but why are they spiritually weak to get seduced??? shouldn't you be strong in christ.

  8. You see the only natural girl on here is the one that reject the religion bs, but embraces her Afrikan spirituality. You don’t know how many young girls you are inspiring. You go girl.

  9. Somethings are common sense but not common to everyone, why do we even close our doors at night, simply for fear that thieves could badge in ,you cannot wear bathing suits to a birthday party so why put on short dresses and half nude, come on Joycelyn

  10. About the dress code… Even when going to meet "human authorities" like the queen or the president one is expected to dress appropriately!
Why would going to meet God in the church be any different?
Or even why would going to meet GOD make you feel comfortable to dress anyhow? It's not accepted! Lady prempeh👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽.. So much class and grace!!

  11. The christian lady grew into it Christianity, however lady Akosua is making great sense to the ordinary Ghanaian/person. Christianity is Bible plus Jesus Christ the rest is between God and Man.Every church has a Doctrine and it guides what a set of fellowship i.e a Church does, its to train, but the Bible should be our guide as Christians for reproof and counselling.Like Jesus called his disciples,so will one be called, aside that no explanation can be understood,no matter how you explain to people.Grace be to us all

  12. If all women thought and behaved like the long haired lady on the right, the world would be a better place! Love her opinions. She was just bullied a little because she's soft spoken but her points were put across clearly. Let's stop thinking about ourselves all the time. It is not always about us. Even in our dressing, if we thought about what our dressing will make other people and bot just how it will make us feel, we would dress better. It is not always about us. Love your neighbor as yourself!

  13. afro lady is seriously lost. offcourse God created everything that's it everything is useful. even scientist will tell you that must be some higher power that pit everything in place.

  14. To meet with the dressing issue they both are justifying the Christian lady's point without knowing it. The church is a place where people who are struggling go to connect with each other in love and shared faith in God. But like what the Christian woman was trying to say when we reach a certain levels I think the change in the mindset causes a change in how we think , talk, walk and dress. Just like any other major change in our life may change those things also. I don't like the fact that ppl try to dictate their personal rules or beliefs to me and pass it off as Christianity but there still are things that are right and wrong as Christians stated clearly in the bible. Just like any place of order has rules the church has them too but sometimes the rules forced onto ppl aren't Christian they are personal and that's the problem I think.

  15. Are we saying that the things we wear to church should always be to please people or Shld always be calculated bcos we are going to the presence of God and are we also saying we can wear anything outside the church bcos we are not in the presence of God.hmm I can't think far🤔.what we can't wear to church to me ,should also not to be worn at anywhere.
