  1. Say what you want, Ke'Quan, and Laitai'sha, are jail bound. That's the truth. These "Hood" names are more common that Blacks want to acknowledge. Please call it as it is.

  2. We once lived in an area that was very diverse with students, staff, and families from all around world. I ALWAYS make an effort to learn and pronounce a name correctly simply out of respect for them as a person. It is not hard to do.

  3. To Reneilwe Morema:
Chinese and Japanese have names that Karen like her can't even pronounce and shes not saying anything to the Asian community concerning the name of their kids, so why complaining only about how black people name their children? This Karen should mind her own business.

  4. If black people can be forced to learn and pronounce names like Kaczyński, Aeschylus, or Schwarzenegger, then white shouldn't have a problem when it's the other way around.

The entitlement is off the the charts 🤢

  5. All cultures name their kids' names according to their culture. nothing wrong with naming your child a different name. Western European names are boring, and why should blacks or foreigners choose these names or conform

  6. I knew a black girl once whose name was Aina. I thought the name was interesting then years later I discovered it was an old viking(Nordic) name meaning “bright”, “radiant”. Did her mother know that? Who knows. All I know is she was a pretty and nice girl and a lot of other black girls made fun of her all the time.

  7. Well then ma'am, give us our reparations. That way, we can build our own institutions, then you won't have to see or try to pronounce our 25 letter names 🤔

  8. They hate our names, our hair, our color, our creativity. Those names are made up on purpose, so they won't be stolen like all the other inventions that've been created by black folks and "appropriated" by others whom shall remain nameless because of yourtube censorship.

  9. Such an old subject , how would she know, she's not that child. And a child is paying no attention.
The host sounds like she's from Africa real hard. But in America these names were formed for different reasons.
We had to connect back to Africa. With a name that fits the characters of the child.
While Africans never left Africa so they never lost a cultural name
And these little people are called"""Children""" not"""Kids""" which is an animal
Kid is in the title of this video.
And yet it's talking about titles and names

  10. I used to be envious of my black fam who had European sounding names and as a kid I tried to “anglicise” my name. Now as an adult I’m proud of my African name ….. and if you can’t pronounce it, that’s on you.

  11. They are just mad because they don't know that Jim John and Jacob all the other white people names are common. Our names are special out there from the Bible that we are God's chosen children respect that.

  12. Looking whoo doing the criticism, after give of Thier name,it is beautiful, to start coming somewhat getting me back home we as people we can pronounce them they have a hard time pronouncing

  13. She’s not talking about traditional African names. She’s talking about African American names. The problem is that the names are made up and inconsiderate of how it affects the life of the child. What we see here is from the viewpoint of the mother but nowhere in this video did I see anyone ask the opinions of the children who have to deal with it.
