This dude is hilarious, I remember rolling laughing when he used to do the Daily Show and I'm glad to have him back. Noah isn't a bad host he just didn't hold my attention, but I probably have bias since I basically grew up with Stewart. I wish he would just stay! edit: just finished his opening monologue, man oh man that was amazing.
Conan was a barbarian which at the time simply meant they didn't speak Greek.
It's not ageist or ableist to not want a candidate who:
1. Refuses to listen to their voter base and issues of the modern times.
2. Has increased war funds even more as their citizens are bleeding dry financially.
3. Has entirely enabled ignoring COVID, harming the disabled and elderly communities. (We are seeing riding covid rates, and "rising vaccination rates" are because unvaxxed people are DYING.)
4. Possibly has biases from living their formative years before the Civil Rights Act was passed.
And it's not unfair to worry about cognitive decline for a job that is cognitively labouring when it is statistically likely to happen at certain ages. There are people who are old and are perfectly fine, sharp as a tack, who are able to make big choices–that's not what we have in front of us. What we have are two old men clinging to power who can't even answer to their voters, "Why are we starving, going homeless, and unable to afford living and you are doing NOTHING??"
