  1. It looks delicious! This is a smart choice too😅 When I saw the Day 70 post in my feed, I thought of how difficult it will be to choose cause every tribe in each of 36 states have their somewhat similar or different traditional dishes! But Jollof Rice is the most popular/common dish. But, Jollof Rice is not an original Nigerian meal, it's Senegalese+Gambian (I still wonder why there's a constant Jollof war between Ghana & Nigeria😅, So unnecessary!). However, this method of cooking Jollof is more Nigerian.
PS: Before you come at me for stating facts, I'm Nigerian. So, be easy on me till after Peter Obi has become Nigeria's president in 2023. Don't be a Buhari- Don't stress me, please❤

  2. Hey, just some history on jollof rice: so as it’s name indicates it originated from Jollof (ancient African empire) which is now modern Senegal and Mali. In Senegal we have it with a certain fish which idk the English name for. It’s basically the same rice everywhere with some variants with fish or plants from the region so it’s different in Nigeria,Senegal,Mali etc. In Senegal it’s also the national dish

  3. I love jolo rice it has the spice which I really like I am not from Nigeria 🇳🇬 but I love to eat it with some spicy chicken or beef. And the bottom part is really good it has a burnt spicy taste soo good.
