I believe that John Oliver and the entire late night talk show squad is a propaganda mouth piece for the Democrats. However the response Oliver gave was extremely polite. He was very humble in his response that this issue between the worlds second richest man and a mid-tier comedian will go away.

John Oliver is one of the most affable humans to ever exist. Even if you disagree with his politics I don't understand how you could not find him personally likeable. He exudes self-deprecating British charm. We are so lucky to have him as a fellow American now.
