Nigerian food is the worst smelling food that I'm aware of.
I shared a flat with Nigerians for 4 months and I hated every second of it. Every 2 or 3 days they would cook food that caused the entire appartment to smell like wet dog, and that smell would linger almost until the next time they cooked.
I never tasted it because the stench would almost make me vomit.
