  1. Yeah it’s like I’m against making something race/gender related just because they are a certain race to where it feels forced I’m very much against that in story telling HOWEVER in the force awakens Finns character was well written and did not feel forced at all surprisingly and was easily my favorite sequel character next to Poe even Ray she did not feel forced in any way I did not get the vibe of oh “female Luke” in the first movie I really didn’t but it wasn’t until the sequels started going down hill it was terrible I feel very bad for John bc he is a genuine fan of Star Wars just for them to shelve him crazy CRAZY shit they love making the worst decisions and making things agenda based Disney is a disgusting company that promotes this behavior clearly

  2. Finn should have been the main character a stormtrooper that witnessed horrors struggling with his feelings and not falling to the darkside. Instead we got shitty Rey

  3. i hope he is not saying his character wasnt written good because he is black or something like that in old days this part would be played by white guy 😂 all characters were badly written in sequels because they more care about diverse casting choices rather than actual scripts

  4. Even if Rey was also a Jedi, making Finn a Jedi as well would have been a really cool story arc for him. The whole sequel series is just bad honestly. It's a poorly written mess.

  5. I really liked this character. I enjoyed seeing him becoming the dude you can count on no matter what to get the shit done no matter how risky it is. By the end of the trilogy, he really gained a special aura that would have been interesting to challenge by making him go through various adversity and tragedy in a futur series or movie.

  6. His original story arc in Colin Trevorrow’s script was WAYYYYY better than what we got. He would have been the LEADER of the entire resistance on Coruscant in an uprising against the empire there, along with Chewy and others, while Po was above fighting the space battle, and Rey was off fighting the clone Palpatine with Ben Solo/Kylo Ren. No way-finder, no mcguffin BS, no “rey you’re a palpatine”, no space horses running on a star destroyer, no ham-fisted “everyone showing up to help the space battle at the last second” BS. Just an old fashioned “good vs evil” face off on land, and space. We, got, robbed.

  7. Unrelated, but the guy needs to just keep his accent in roles. Make every American he plays just British. To my American ears..his voice is just so cool

  8. So trueeeeeee. They disguise it as inclusive, but then throw them to side. Fin was so promising, and they just made him the dude that has a weird obsession with Rey. They should've fleshed fin and po out, build their bond just like in the original. Fins character is probably the most frustrating thing in the sequel. After force awakens they just added characters but didn't give them a personality at all. Even back then Lando was a character.

  9. How does a seemingly force sensitive storm trooper, dual Kylo Ren, a student of Luke Skywalker and Snoke (which led to Sidious actually being his teacher) not become a main focal point in the series and lead to him learning the ways of the force and becoming a Jedi, or having something happen that leads him to become a sith? There’s at least 3 more movies if they did that
