  1. I canโ€™t see parents allowing a girl child to be that close to an adult man. I am wondering if the underage child is a boy. People are not as careful with boys and allow much more freedom, which is a HUGE mistake. Boys are every bit as likely to be sexually abused as little girls. Sorry to say, especially in churches by priest and preachers. Parents are more likely to trust them.

  2. I have just watched a video which has presently been posted on a podcast where the so called baba ijesha knelt down and begging for forgiveness from those who caught him in his acts with the belt and zip of his trouser loose and then said that what influenced him was spiritually of the devil whilst he also begged that the video of his actual sexual actions should not be allowed to go public.

I cannot vouch for any legal justice systems in Nigeria but with only the video that i have watched with baba ijesha on his knees begging with his trouser belt and zip down at least this minor deserves justice fingers crossed ๐Ÿคž because nobody can trust the Nigerian legal systems.

  3. Very sad story abuse started aged 7 she is now 14. Nigeria is a joke as a country hope Justice is served.
Parents need to be very alert because outside is just getting darker.
Parents donโ€™t be too trusting o shine your eyes and communicate with your children. Look at the Busola Dakolo case with pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo. Nigeria culture blames the victim and so many rapist given freedom.

  4. The real story isโ€ฆthe man molested the girl 7 years ago but he did it only onceโ€ฆ7 years later the little girl confided in her God mother and they decided to catch him red handed by inviting him over to the house, then everyone intentionally left the house thereby leaving the moron and the young girl alone in the houseโ€ฆunbeknownst to him a cctv has been set up in the houseโ€ฆhe was about to do it the second time again when he was caughtโ€ฆ

  5. As a mental health practitioner in the UK With 18 years experience under my belt.

I have continually worked with many Africans both adults and kids who as a result of sexual molestation or abuse have developed mental illness because it wasnโ€™t dealt with clinically or psychological due to the hush hush culture.

    My advice for all parents ;

Do Not leave your children with anyone especially unregistered childminders.

Iโ€™m sorry I donโ€™t take chances. I donโ€™t care who it is( pastors, reverend or president) If not in the school or regulated setting.

Donโ€™t cut corners thinking itโ€™s cheap childcare because you will pay heavily for it if shit hit the fan .

Open your eyes and talk to your kids.

create an open and healthy environment for your kids to open up to you.

Wise up and donโ€™t let no pastor tell you your kids are possessed with evil spirit.( kids are blessing from God).

Talk to your children and seek for help for your kids if needs be.

    TRUST NO ONE.

pray for your children yourself ( God will hear your own prayers too). They donโ€™t need any perverted pastor to abuse your children in the name of deliverance.

Take it from a professional who sees this day in day out.

  6. UPDATE: A Nigerian comedian called "Princess" recently gave her side of the story and gave some facts. People need to watch that video because it is HEART BREAKING. I am personally boycotting every Yoruba Nollywood actor that supporting baba Ijesha. Some of these Nollywood actors are morally corrupt and have no conscience.

  7. Probably one of the reasons these sort of things went on for years is that children are seen and not heard. The perpetrators threaten their victims into silence and if the parents are strict and stern, the children can't speak up because they are terrified of their parents. They are scared they won't be believed and be beaten and punished if they speak up.

  8. The child should be taking away from her parents, because where have they been over the years, how come none of the parent suspect or notice anything from the child all this years. Maybe they knew and didnโ€™t believe and they now have a moment to think and say maybe this child is telling the truth o.

Something like this happened to a friend of mine some years ago and know one believed her until some years later after the alleged accuser confessed to doing it. Shame

  9. This is called Grooming and its digusting toxic behaviour and its impact is very damaging mental issues. These folks are sick!! These parents need to be investigated, He married totally disgusting there more to this story!!! Real talk bless you man

  10. The parents will be paid off. The child will be taken abroad on a 'juicy' scholarship. And the icing on the cake will be a pastor, politician ,perpetrator and parents asking Jesus for forgiveness!!!!!

  11. This sick behaviour is common in Africa and now social media as you have said now increases the awareness. Also increased enhancement in technology such as smartphones, apps and CCTV helps too.

  12. People requesting to see the video are sick to the core. Even this topic makes me sick much more a video. I worked in the police and the prison service and came into regular contact with such sick people who engage in this love for minor activities. In court evidence of their deeds was there for all to see. Believe me โ€“ people requesting to see such would be permanently scarred by seeing this video. I personally think paedos should be executed for the short/long term physical, mental, spiritual damage they do to their victims. They also influence their victims sexuality further down the line. I would advise any children or adults who are or were victims to seek further advise โ€“ counselling, reporting it to the authorities, letting someone know. I advise parents to monitor their children carefully and always communicate with them.

  13. I attended a church service in MFM headquarters at Onike, the General Overseer told us to close our eyes because he announced in the church that men who had raped girls, women in the past should come out to the altar.I didn't close my eyes and i saw many aged men who were close to their graves came out to the altar.Friends, I was shocked to see so many men came out to the altar. What a wicked world.

  14. It's really sad that poor child had to go through that for those years.Dont be surprised the man's wife may have known about what the husband was doing but will still stay in that marriage and cover up for her husband.I pray that child heals and have a bright future because it will be tough.
