@GunshipGlare_1

This man should have been made minister of education.

@oninasrullah7757

I swear this man should be our President

@elchapo2944

Bullshit young people are doing amazing things around the world your saying nonsense

@jumbo-dev

In another view: Nigeria doesn't have the youngest Engineer or Professor in the world, just full of die potential. Not even all these academic bodies care about the education system. They just want to look good in the face of the world and to the government. Those Academics and government people start this initiative to speed up of children academic duration. Just to replace them in a role or office. Not just be making decision for academic sector, like beer parlour talk. Remember also, we have exceptionally gifted children. God Bless Nigeria

@st.augustine6167

As we seek to check the problem of underaged university admissions, let us not forget that we have exceptionally gifted children among us too whose radically different and super mature intellect require that we make special provisions for them to continue exploring and developing at their own pace. Kids like this are called child prodigies and they exist everywhere, but they tend to go to places willing to offer them such opportunities.

In the United States alone, there is an array of child prodigies such as Michael Kearney who still holds the record of being the youngest university graduate ever at the age of 10 years and 4 months. Moshe Kai Cavalin and Laurent Simons were 11 at the time of graduation; Sho Yano was 12, while Gregory Robert Smith was 13; Erik Demaine and Carson Huey-You were both 14, while Kathleen Holtz was 15. This list is by no means exhaustive.

When we fail to recognize this and try to force everyone into the same academic mould, it may well end up becoming a case of cutting off one's nose to spite one's face. Because these children will leave for other places where their giftedness is cherished and not considered a threat to anyone or an existing system that doesn't make allowance for their own peculiarities. And when this happens, we would have lost them to such places.

If JAMB can peg the cut-off mark into Nigerian universities to figures below the 200s in order to give those who are educationally disadvantaged a chance of fulfilling their dreams of earning a university degree, surely they can and should make provisions for exceptionally gifted kids to pursue their own dreams too.

@sweetjtv294

Please it is ABSURD to have 140 as University Admission Cutoff Mark. 140/400 is a failure.

@ohi_ohi

Sir I wish you help do much on Tinubu educational fraud case as well

@marvinsabhulimen2686

I think the real issue here is age fraud issue, the student asking for a postgraduate scholarship has definitely modified her age, no way can she be 12 and get admission into a University and graduate at 15 in a govt university studying computer science

@onimisipeter6955

Omo….this guy is busting my head. He has been consistent

@adekunleadedokun8483

education in nigeria is plummeting in nigeria

@giwaahmed5961

It's sad! And those parents who enrolled a 12 yo child into the university will still open their rotten mouth to accuse someone in leadership position of corruption! Truth be told, we are all guilty of bringing this country to a ruin especially the educated elite class.

@theinfinity914

What Happened to the President who finish in a school in a year when the sch has not yet founded?

@gbengaosidele7903

This prof has been doing a yeoman’s job and he is once in a million.
University admissions in Nigeria has been majorly racketeering and absurd. Weldone professor Oloyede

@mrunreal11

Very intelligent man. Hope he's corrupt-free too?

Please Sir, could JAMB review the practice of making candidates resit the exams every year before they can apply for University entry, having left secondary school for 2 to 3 years past. Their JAMB scores get progressively worse because they are no longer in formal education. They keep paying to private lesson establishments of unknown integrity without good result. If WAEC and NECU result remain acceptable for always, JAMB result should be also.
