I’m not going to moan about it, as I think ultimately it won’t matter, but he 100% deserved a suspension. If it landed on the edge of the court, away from the play, or during a stoppage, it would still deserve a fine, but wouldn’t be as big of a problem. As was, it came inches away from where players were running and jumping and it’s a minor miracle no one stepped on it or landed on it, which could more than likely put them out of action for at least the game, if not longer. Flagrantly endangering other players is worthy of a suspension, IMO
I think he should be suspended. At best he acted like a two-year-old, and at worst he attempted to assault an official.
Suspending Murray is definitely bad for business and wouldn’t be a good financial decision for the league fine him and get back to business as usual
