  1. To take the championship it can’t be a close fight, yes Jade just did that little bit more but you have to beat the champion decisively to be champion. Jade will be champion at some point.

The female divisions in the BKFC of which there's only two that I'm aware of don't have enough quality fighters so we either end up watching major miss matches where talented young fighters aren't facing a high enough level of good opponents needed to be able to enhance a promising up and coming fighters skill levels. You can train and spare until the cows come home but in order for a fighter to be able to recognise their true potential they must face quality opponents in the ring, there's no substitute to actually fighting others in the promotion. Because of this we're seeing fights like this one and the Starling vs Hart fight where the younger fighter has all the physical tools to get the job done against a seasoned champion but lacks the in ring experience for example to switch tactics if the fight plan isn't working. So eventually all we're seeing is both fighters continuing to clinch because their either out of ideas or gassed out in the latter stages of the fight.
