Its good for business, this is their business model since they own companies together. They are business partners, they both will have a lot to loose if they divorce. That's why they justify "bad marriage till we die"..but that's a terrible lie they are living, very unhappy lives, but money cannot buy them happiness, they are miserable, just have to put on the show for the camera.

If their marriage was "open" I don't think that Will would have looked so terribly beaten down. We all know what it looks like when someone has been crying or has been emotional.
Seriously guyz!, if you are going to have an open relationship, get someone who is not in the public eye, someone who is discreet, someone who has shame. There are many guys and ladies like this. Open relationship is a very complex situation but if that is a decision to keep living as married couples, hold it in the system or else it turns into a disaster.

@Phrankleen August would be floating at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean if he revealed the relationship publicly with someone from a truly powerful American power couple. Yes, he would have over dosed on some sleeping pills or died an automobile accident for revealing this type relationship. August is luck Will is not a truly powerful man from a power family. He would definitely be pushing up daisies for revealing this relationship. August ignored the first rule when entering this type of relationship, you don't do anything that would damage the family name or the brand's name.
From what I've seen of Open Marriages the relationship is dead, but for some reason the couple won't divorce. In California assets get divided in half during divorce. Then there is the issue of children.

I'm with you 100%. Some of these stars put up a show and its unfortunate some young persons see them as living the best lives and to some other "role models". On the issue of Will keeping up with his comestic union with Jada for whatever reason, believe me, I would rather i walk away and go live my life elsewhere without creating a fictional impression than wake up every morning knowing in reality I'm still confined and entangled in the same web of unhappiness. The very first time I listened to an interview granted by Will and Jada on the way and manner they are raising their kids, I knew something was definitely wrong with both of them. Take a good look at Will in the video of the red table talk and you will agree with me that you are looking at a man emotional battered and shattered, yet struggling to stay strong just to make his fans feel he got it whereas that's a lie. Jada is the one who's got it. She was so relaxed, composed and enjoying the moment. Now I can truly see that Will was expressing his own frustration in his film "The pursuit of happiness" and he needs to know he still has a long way to go pursuing it if he ever finds it on the path he is right now.

An open marriage is not a marriage. Marriage was created by God for a man and woman to enter into a holy matrimony-committed exclusive relationship where they become one flesh. They exchange vows agreeing to be committed to one another to the forsaking of all others. Anything outside that is not a marriage. Many celebrities are just trying to confuse the ignorant and make a mockery of the beautiful institution God created.
I personally think Will have untold stories under his sleeve. There are more to it than what is presented to the eye . The marriage had probably died long ago, however they are just holding on for public dealings.

Hmm they were separating heading for divorce Will Smith said it was over for him. So I don't see it as an open marriage. Jada probably used Alsina to lick her wounds, when her husband said he wanted to divorce her. The fact that she will find someone else and make a life with them would crush his ego. Eventually they will come to an understanding. Or he will eventually change and realize that life it too short.
Jada doesn't like the Hollywood life but she likes the perks of the lifestyle the shopping, the cars, the homes, and she gets to do what she wants. I don't think she wants to not be Mrs Will Smith. As Will said he don't want to fail at marriage so they will suffer through it.
