Just slavery, which ended over a century ago, and racism, which most blacks in predominate black neighborhoods have never even met a white person? You should have movies that reflect how America looks especially if it make sense for the movie. I mean think about having a movie about NYC or LA and everyone white and heterosexual? I can understand if the movie is supposed to be a small town in Montana that would make sense. Also do you think with the thousands of actors having 1 or a few minorities in a movies means they are not qualified? Like cmon. Like how dumb or untalented do you think minorities are, that requiring a few in a mainstream movie means that aren't qualified to be there? Quit looking at this concept as either or, versus what actually make sense and why it's important to see how America really looks and should realistically be represented in film/show.

I had a slightly different experience growing up in the 80’s. I saw 👀 that the “children’s” shows often had a “token black friend” in the peer group being depicted. They always stood out because it didn’t at all reflect the reality of my experiences in school, at my or others homes and out in public spaces such as malls and beaches etc… I remember when “political correctness” became the wave of the future and now I see pure INSANITY with this entire “inclusion movement” where people are expected to accept everything and everyone simply because it might “hurt their feelings “ if we don’t. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!! Why aren’t we promoting COPING SKILLS??!?! Seriously, take your lumps on THE PLAYGROUND 🛝 AND GET YOUR KIDS OUTSIDE AND OFF THE TECH DEVICES!!! You’re HARMING YOUR CHILDREN AND TEACHING THEM THAT OTHERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CHILDS HAPPINESS AND WELL BEING!!! Life is sooooo not fair!! Whoever made people believe it is has done a huge disservice to entire generations!!! Adapt or die!! It’s called survival of the fittest!!! People today need TO GET A GRIP!! 🙏🏽
