  1. how many weapons did the Nigerian military retrieve when 38 of them were slaughtered in Niger state. by the bandits. when it comes to the south it's weapon retrieval but when it comes to the north it's negotiations, divides Nigeria let every region go it's way.

  2. Are we waiting to see these criminals have change of mind or to decisively deal with them & have a safe society?
I have seen over the time that Nigerian Military are expecting these criminals to repent & have a change of mind, & this rtd General has affirmed it again today, but I want to assure the citizens that the reason for this is just one thing:👉 "To keep embezzling money both money meant for the troop and the allocations meant to prosecute the war against the terrorist" as the insecurity in the land has become ShopRite for the Nigerian Army officer. ESPECIALLY THE SENIOR OFFICERS."

  3. How can professional soldiers, a Lt. Col. inclusive for that matter, not think that civilians who held soldiers captive mean fight?
    I mean, this is ridiculous!

  4. This man is not been truthful, they did the same in fela's house and denied it,my village was razed down by some soldiers because some dss officers were killed soldiers were invited instead of making arrest and making peace they just started by shootings and burning while the youth that committed this offence have already left the village

  5. They were not on a Peace Mission. They were on a serious Rescue Mission of their 3 Officers held Hostage in the Community.
    1) What brought those taken Hostage to that community in the first place?
    2) Who invited those 3 Officers and why?
    3) What did those taken hostage by irate youths do in the community to anger the youths , were people killed by those 3 Officers?

So many serious questions needing reasonable answers

  6. I am amazed by the level of knowledge and expertise of the rtd General ! He has mentioned salient points and you keep wondering why such figure should not be included in government , but there again what do you have people appointed to head sensitive and delicate positions based on political and ethnic consideration . I am not happy and support the Army should go after the culprits .

  7. The primary problem is that the political class are dishonest and dishonourable people. In every general elections, the politicians recruit and employ bandits and then supply ammunitions to them to enable them win elections. After the elections, the bandits become State actors organising kidnappings and armed robberies. In so far as l am concerned, the Nigeria government are deceiving people and themselves.

  8. I thought, in the beginning that this man was sincere, and making sense that the army should not be doing the job of the police. But now it appears he had deviated, stammering, stuttering, to starting to defend the army for invading the community and burning down homes, because as he said, they are cordoning the area and searching for sophisticated weapons? Ārrānt Nonsense!

  9. It is very unfortunate for civilians to ambush military officers and slaughtered them.
However the recent abductions of 280 children who may be amongst them Army Major General, Senators, cabinet ministers, business owners, academicians, etc in the future, should not be let allow to sleep out of our hearts

  10. The Nigerian army lack intelligence, that's why they can't defeat bokoharam nd fulani herdsmen, the boys that killed 16 soldiers need to be promoted nd be given award, they need to become soldiers,if it is an ordinary unarmed civilians the Nigerian army will have intelligence to mess them up,i thought army are trained what's the purpose of thier training 16 armed, soldiers killed by civilians, disgrace to Nigeria army, those boys are stronger nd they have better intelligence than the army,i think Nigerian army is trained for politics

  11. While the death of our soldiers stands completely condemned without exception, what does he mean by the community was cordoned off to retrieve weapons. Which one have they found. There is a way many military people speak with so much disdain for civilians & local population. The video posted online was recorded by soldiers what was their own intention.

  12. There is no excuse or reason for anyone or group of criminals to attack military officers but the" see finish " of the Nigeria military began when they started doing the bidding of the selfish politicians and working with criminal group to commit injustice as in some cases like snatching of ballot boxes and given security cover for changing of elections results to favoured criminal politicians, then the ordinary civilian little by little starts losing respect of this highly esteem institution. How can a military officer be carring the handbag of the wife of a commissioner or local govt chairman??? That's the beginning of the audacity to think that the military is not as efficient and deciplined as it used to be.

  13. I condemn the killing of officers on duty. I think it is high time officers of all kinds in Nigeria to come together and have a conversation concerning peaceful coexist of all Nigerian people. There is too much hate for one another over there. Live in peace people or separate to regions and save lives . Too much blood letting in Nigeria.

  14. Why is military eoing jobs of police? Bcoz the politicians are not paying the police. I stead theyre keeping their wages foe themselves.
    Nigeria is a mess.

  15. That loss of life was totally uncalled for . The commanding officer failed woefully in his foresight . While taking his soldiers to an area where some other soldiers were being held hostage , he should have known that he was going out for war . Going out on a peace mission was no excuse to let go the guard of his troops . The fact that there were warring factions in the area meant that it was a war zone and should have taken precautions . It's so sad for people to lose their lives in such a careless manner .

  16. True Soldiers don't go for their Comrade unarmed and unprepared this was a total failure and unfortunate! Where were police before sending the army Lastly soldiers don't ever go for peaceful mission perood!

  17. Our military men are really trying. But they dont have coperation of the other players. They would arrest bandits, hand them to the appropriate section but they will later be released. That itself is killing the moral of the security men

  18. We Condemned the killing of Nigeria Soldiers but that does not give them the right to go after the whole community. What they should do, is to make proper investigation and go after the killers.
No innocent civilian should lost his life because of failed government
