If you’re in your home right now, could you do us a favor? Look around it. Take it all in. Look at all the stuff you have in it, where your bed, kitchen, bathroom, whatever you have there, take a look and appreciate what you have. 1. It's not great, but it's the brainchild of a greedy slumlord. Nothing bad lasts forever. Some folks don't have what I do.If I'm greatful, things are bound to get better. Evil people soon get their rewards..At least I'm free to do as I want, have peace and God keeps me safe. I have what I need for dignity's sake.🎩🤔👍

I would have enjoyed at that age! But, I still would have had a lot of questions…

  3. This is very heart breaking in Brazil slums and elsewhere. This is because the government does not give a darn about the people. Life really doesn't have to be like that. This is a big spacious world 🌍 not the lies they keep feeding to the masses. People have a God given right to be happy on the planet.

  4. I’m from the U.S.; been to the Rhocina Favelas with a guide: stood on that bridge as a POC thinking “Woww, it’s crazy how we are oppressed everywhere!” It was heartbreaking & difficult to move through (those stairs were steep & BRUTAL), but also pleasing & humbling to see the people who live there, who look more like me (something I didn’t see much of outside of there) & spend a day with them while supporting those small mom&pop shops.

    What a humbling experience. 🙏🏽❤️
