I think with all the weapons donated by USA and financial support Israel could have success with initial invasion but I think the cost might be under estimated here for a number of reasons which centre on the below statement;
My understanding is Hezbollah has been fighting in Iraq and Syria for a decade, is trained in both traditional and guerialla fighting, has 100k+ fighters and has balistic missiles.
Gaza has seen Israel economy hit fairly badly due to Tourism being on life support, reserves leaving jobs to fight, people with duel citzenship leaving anf US tech companies pausing growth plans.
If places like Tel Aviv are being struck with rockets, large number of reserves are alled to fight and body bags are coming back this will be difficult to maintain.
Secondly im pretty certain Europe from Dublin to London to Paris to even Munich the leaders are already struggling to justify supporting what is happening in Gaza for people under 40 and minorities. A broader invasion into Lebanon which woukd have to be similar or worse than Gaza to "achieve results". Also while this is sad to say as a reason to lose support about 35% of lebabon is Christian which means destruction of Churches and people easier to identify with in the west.

People need to let Israel do what they need to do in Gaza. Hamas did this to their own people. Even in non war times Hamas is launching rockets and stealing water pipes for clean water donated from the west from their citizens to make rockets. Just like they’ve been stealing all the aid sent there and turned down fuel to keep the generators at hospitals running which mind you was donated by Israel. Hamas is using western morals against us and many fall for it. They need to go or this will continue happening.
