These events weren't direct consequences of the war of Gaza, but due to the arrogance and the provocative behavior of the Israeli soccer fans, as the chief of Amsterdam police testimoned. They climbed up citizens houses to rip the Palestinian flag, singing: " F**ck Palestine, F**ck the Arabs," making glory for the IDF, another chant: " There are no school in Gaza, because there are no children left" they were manifesting their proud of killing Palestinian children." They attacked taxi's drivers and destroyed their cars because most of the Taxis are Arabs. Moreover Maccabi Tel-Aviv fans had also interrupted a minute of silence for the victims of the Spanish floods with chanting and whistles before the match, because Spain recognized the State of Palestine.

The mainstream media, this network especially, and politicians deliberately distorted what happened, erasing basic facts like Maccabi Tel Aviv fans gassed up on both hubris and alcohol celebrated the slaughter of Palestinian children and calling for the demise of Arabs while their country is committing war crimes. They violently attacked local residents; rampaging around the streets clutching iron poles and other weapons: tearing down Palestinian flags from people's homes and then burning them; throwing stones at people's properties, leaving residents terrified; setting off fireworks on the street and deliberately disrupting a minute silence for victims of Spain's floods.
Both IDF and Mossad were in that crowd of Israeli thugs, starting trouble in an obvious attempt to further their propaganda campaign for tacit support of war crimes being carried out in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran.
Then the local media outlets in Amsterdam spun those violent acts to make it appear as though it was the other way around. They said the thugs in the video who attacked a handful of people were locals, and the victims were from Israel. That was and still is false. It was Israelis attacking locals.
The violence on the following day came as a direct result of the violence from the night before.
Amsterdam has a right to defend itself.
