  1. The Israeli girl won hands down and is a great representative of wonderful Israel. How she was treated was horrific. Then we have to consider the talentless, perverted and vile crap put on display by Britain – explains everything happening to that once great nation perfectly. Unbelievably shameful and disgraceful that they were allowed to represent the British in the Eurovision contest.

  2. You're not a "civilian" when you volunteer to represent a country complicit in the worst acts of crimes against humanity ever known to people living in 2023/24.

  3. You dont fully understand the European people. We dont whistle to the person, we whistle on to the situation. And that is that the EBU organisation failed to handle things correctly, especially this year. The question wether Israel should have been allowed, why the Netherlands were disallowed. Inconsistancies with politcal correctness. And such. The European people for 99% sure, whistle for just that, and never the person. Remember, we are not Americans.

  4. Cenk and Geraldo, I respectfully disagree. I unfriended a now ex-friend from Russia after her native country invaded Ukraine. Putin has also repeatedly threatened to nuke us.

  5. What Americans don't understand is that Eurovision is HUGE here in Europe, with Russia always being a contestant, and Eurovision always claiming to be a non political song contest for peace. Then they suddenly disqualified Russia just because it was n fashion. I'm not team Russia but since Eurovision disqualified them, most Europeans think that Israel should be disqualified as well, especially since Israel killed more people in 2 months than Russia has in 2 years. It's nothing against the singer, it's the hypocrisy of Eurovision that many Europeans are mad about!
