Thousands of people have fled their homes in Southern Lebanon, as cross-border violence between Israeli forces and Hezbollah escalates.

If the IDF enters Lebanon, Lebanon will likely fall back into civil war. The population has nothing to lose anymore and the majority of the country is sick and tired of being hijacked by Iran via Hezbollah. The 75-90 civil war started in much the same way, with the PLO trying to take over Lebanon (after failing to take Jordan over) to use it as a base to fight against Israel, very much against the will of a majority of local Lebanese. Let’s not forget that the IDF was all but invited in 1982 by Lebanese christians to help them fight this takeover attempt. To this day, not all Lebanese hate Israel, many support it, despite the best efforts of the Lebanese plutocrats to erase history.
