  1. It depends on what willbe inside the bag like fishes & light weight foodstuffs ,clothn & Shoes and your location in Canada matters too (those in living in rural parts is very expensive bcs you will pay extra cost to ship to your doorstep after custom charges. For those in bigger city & can do pick up themselves it might come to the same price with buying in African store but your cargo content is fresher. My mum dt came with extra 23kg wen comn in June she paid 450k at muritala with receipt-This is the worst i have seen all 😂 bcs i had tot it wuld be cheaper than Aircargo or buyn from African store(For the contents of the bag is bought with 40k).So for me as it is now is to buy from African store even with cost of shipping to my interior it will not be up to 450k! Although i don't source for my dry fishe's, crayfish dry vegetables from African Store bcs is not fresh. Imagine ola-poundo 1Kg from Akure is 16k now!.Still thinkn of sea -cargo as another option but av not yet recovered from the 450k muritala airport collected as extra 23kg luggage fees maybe until after 2years

  2. I think it is cheaper to bring your things yourself. I buy somethings like dryfish, stockfish, kpomo crayfish etc from Nigeria. By the time you do the maths it is way cheaper. We stopped eating Amala in Canada as all the ones we buy do not make sense. Na garri and pondo we started eating.
