The fact that Dricus never mentioned any color and yet the haters are bringing up racism because he spoken something related to white genocide in his country. The reason why farm murders cause chest pains is because there has been a narrative of a white genocide in South Africa, which is not true. This narrative also states that black people are out to attack white farmers, when in fact, between 45 and 65 people living on farms, small holdings and plots, have been killed PER YEAR as compared to an average of 75 South Africans being murdered PER DAY (particularly in 2023). A lot of 'farm attacks' are actually house robberies. The unfortunate thing is that because the farms, small holdings and plots are on isolated land, it gives the perpetrators a lot more time to do heinous acts. In addition, more MEN are killed in SA, followed by women, and then children. More children are killed each year than farmers or those living on such properties which fall under the category of 'a farm'. South Africa's top crime, each year, is murder. The cause – altercations often induced by alcohol. The victims – men. The perpetrators – men.
However, some organisations focus on 'white farmers' to (in my opinion) instil fear and create a social divide because some white South Africans loathe the black government (which, in all honesty, is indeed corrupt). Dricus said farm murders are taking the whole country by storm. They are not. MURDERS in general are. He said (farm) murders happen daily. No. There have not been 365 farm murders.

The farm murders are unique in the sense that it requires coordinated planning and the murders are done by groups of people mostly not after possessions as they take petty stuff. It is in majority a hate crime done to destroy farmers. EFF and on some occasions the ANC has chanted "Kill the boer, kill the farmer" this should result in the World Organizations to step in and stop this kind of behavior. The way that the farmers also get mutilated is grotesque and done by people who clearly has mental problems. The Government should stop this activity immediately and instead of standing on the sidelines stop this crime with a passion. Other crime deserves attention as well but the government should pull its socks up and equip the police force on a National level to bring order to farms, cities and towns. Dricus is right that the government is falling short here. The only media coverage I saw on it was when farmers confronted Bheki Cele about it and he just stared at them not offering any feedback or support.
Just want to trough my 2 cents in the hat…. He gave that speech on his debut in ufc…. that was 7 fights back. His father is a farmer… If you are in that world you will speak about your problems. The problem is, take out all the farmers in South Africa and will end up like Zambia…. The people forget that sometimes….
