  2. I don't know that she is in trouble. Yet. It's early days yet and we keep forgetting that Bri is still very young, only turned 22 this past March. Because she has enjoyed phenomenal success internationally from around the age of 15-16 we all think she's a seasoned professional who has been around forever, and some how, she's a failure because she has not been shattering records left right and center. Please allow her to grow, transition, and find her footing in this very competitively discipline. It's not for anyone to tell her to pack up and find a different career path when none of us critics, I doubt very much, is capable of doing what she does, let alone beating her in a mere walk race. One should remember that Ta Lou, who is surely one of the world's fastest women, has yet to win a coveted Olympic gold medal; she joined the Jon Smith training group a year ago and in less than an year she smashed her personal best running a blinding 9.72 last August–and just look at Marie's raw speed and strength now as she ran her fastest ever season opener over the 100m, last Saturday night at the Jamaica Invitational. Brianna is now also being conditioned by the very same Jon Smith. To the best of my knowledge, she has never had female training partners to compete against and to inspire her. Now in the same camp with Marie-Josee Ta Lou Smith, Brianna can only get better. I believe it's just a matter of time before she starts showing the results of her new program. Please give her some time and if she doesn't live up to our expectations, so what? she has already etched her name in history when, at the age of 16 she donned the national colors and won the 100m & 200m at the World U-20 in Tampere Finland, winning in a time of 11.16 and 22.50 respectively. How soon we forget. To this day she still owns the under 20 record in the 200m. Many seasoned professionals have yet to produce those times. So again, please give Brianna some grace. Let's see how she does under the tutelage of Jon Smith, going forward. My only thoughts are that she should've made this transition sooner. Brianna, I wish you the very best and if you never win another 50-100-200m I have wonderful memories of your many scintillating performances—I will never forget how proud you made me feel, when you represented us so ably at the world U-20 later at the the World Indoors, and your blinding speed on that first leg of the relays at the Tokyo olympics. This Jamaican forever holds you in high esteem.

  3. She should be very careful what camp she selects. It seems she avoided MVP, Racers etc. or vice versa due to the other young athletes there who are settling or some other reason. Pick a proven camp and stick to it if you have the opportunity. Some money is better than none in the long run. Cautionary tale for young athletes out there.

  4. She won world under 20 Championship when shee was 16, she beat TT Terry who was favorite. She has talent for sure, she just need the right training camp, focus, determination and she can improve

  5. She should be peaking by now. She is not ready for the pros. She was great as a junior but now she is on the big stage, her true color is showing. I’m not impressed by what I’ve seen with her the last couple years. She is not ready!!!

  6. Yes she is in trouble, I also thinks the young guns in her age group and younger are ahead of her but I see something where she is running from the back and she run them down, so the speed is their but the endurance needs to improve

  7. Truth be told Briana looked really slow in that race and very sluggish. Normally her starts are very good but she looked like she was stuck in 1st gear. Hard to understand why her progress going backwards. Coaching changes, location changes not seeing any improvement and that is not good.

  8. Brianna William never really have any true talent , she was over hype, five years she still running high school time class ll at tha smh, maybe if she run for Papua New Guinea she may make the Olympic.

  9. When coaches burn out athletes in gym , then the body will not go further doesn't matter the weights. Ato Bolden had that girl lifting 300 pounds at age 17

  10. Idk anything about coaching but all these young athletes are struggling because they lack endurance and maybe the mental fortitude. I would love to see them running way more 200m & 400m even if they run dead last.
For Briana, she needs a sport psychologists. I agree that injury affects these athletes more than we imagine.

  11. Overrated, thats all. She fast when she was younger and thought by now she wud be 2x faster, but that’s now the reality of life. She lacks talent, don’t think she can even make the 100m finals at Jamaica trials.

  12. She needs to choose a coach that intends to stay with for at least 4 years and work hard as she normally does. I really dont think she will make the team to the Olympics because there is just a short time left before the trials

Good morning , sir. I hope you and your family will have a blessed, successful day. I beg your indulgence please. Could you comment on this thing that irks me to where I am tearing out my hair from my BALD HEAD ? How is it that all these people come here and are experts on what the Athletes need to do. The NIKI'S of the world invest Billions of US dollars, in the athletes, the Governments, the coaches, who do it for their living, the administrators, the Broadcasters, NBC, USPN etc. None of them have a clue But JOE BLOW HARD, HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS , " she need to run more 400, its is her diet, she need to stop STREET WALKING on Knutsford Blvd, at night " SHE NEED TO LISTEN TO WILDUN(FOOL) LAP.
Am crazy in thinking, that these people are CRAZIER THAN I AM ?
    REGARDS BRO

  14. Yes,she’s in trouble…..She needs to get to either the Glen Mills or Stephen Francis track Camp….One has to be meticulously careful when changing camps as she did after her phenomenal junior career,to get her to the level of seniors. It’s not automatic that such success from juniors is going to translate to senior success and I think that she’s at juncture in her career where she has to reassess her team and if they’re the ones to take her forward and to the next level….‼️‼️‼️‼️

  15. She would be in ‘trouble’ if you people keep parroting the same line day in day out. The same can be said of Tina and Tia Clayton. They have not improved their times in a pretty long time. These athletes are young, stop over analyzing them. And you sir, you focus too much of your attention on Brianna. Leave her alone for awhile and you will see the difference.

  16. Her form was none existent. She was struggling and stumbling in the last 20m. It's mid May and if she is to make the Olympic team she needs a lot of work. Wishing Brianna all the best .

  17. Maybe it's because everyone wants to stay in the box, instead of thinking outside the box. Sometimes we make our biasness and love for someone blind us from seeing it's possible she have reach her ceiling. Just like many star athletes in high school who did really well but could not properly transition to the pros because they have reach their limits. She was able to to reach stardom early in her teens because she had a star coach Ato Boldon who was a pro on top of his game and knew how to tweak her to bring the best out her quickly which many young athlete isn't fortunate to have a pro coach in their early teens. Her fans will continue to sing the same sankey until she can run no more.

  18. 11.39 seems just fine to me. Nothing wrong with her. The others might be further in preparation. She is very good. Maybe not good enough to make the Jamaican individual squad. But thats not because something is wrong with her. The competition is stiff.
