A question regarding " speaking in tongues". Could these believers be calling negative forces upon themselves.
I have noticed things happening to people who swear by this " tongues speaking" that's negative in every respect
Eg.Speaking against death in a person's life ,soon after the person dies ,saying they are "well"but getting sick.And other things that indicates something is going on that's not right.

I used to have a wooden carving of a hippo a friend from Zimbabwe gave me , but I foolishly threw it away, when l was in my foolish religious psychosis .
