I like the regimented schedule idea , you don't need to do a ton of research before going because the guide will show you what to look at and explain it. I do think more time would be nice. I realise they need to get everyone back to the boat for lunch or dinner.
Tbh nile cruise ships are very safe bc if a ship in the nile starts sinking then lots of people and ships would come for rescue and even if u were not rescued they give u a life jacket so u could just swim to land and there will be no sharks or high waves
It was fine for the first time: the food on our cruise line was very good, we were up early for planned hot air ballooning, and our cruise director gave us plenty of time for the most part- considering some people were older, some were not interested in temple's, while others were interesting and engaging. 🟧♾️🟧
As an Egyptian I’ve been on the cruise I would suggest picking the one with the highest ratings as occasionally lower ones don’t get cleaned as properly i happen to get a heat stroke as temp went up to 42 c that summer in upper Egypt and my system couldn’t handle it but the cinematic view from the bedroom was super cool reminded me of a tour in ancient Egyptian times with green nature on the river beds and blue Nile water the temples goes without saying is the best part of the tour hands down. I agree with your negatives, however the reason why all ships land the same time and make the same tours is 2 reasons 1. Sight seeing at dawn so everyone can catch as many temples as possible. 2. National Security reasons. Also logically speaking we can’t see temples too well after dark either way.
Felucca is a great experience

Yes, the Nile cruise is worth the trip.

If you think a Nile cruise is worth it, you are just in de Nile.
this reminds me of nightboat to cairo xD, can you even get trips like that anymore?
What’s the price range, cheapest to average to most expensive

Any recommendations on cruise companies ? 😊
Yes, I did one and it was fantastic. So relaxing but still get to see all the amazing history.
