Introduction to Tanzanian Street Food (#28)

Tanzanian food is really underrated. Chipsi mayai, which is french fries(“chips” if you’re British for some reason) and eggs put together into an omelette, and nyama choma, marinated meat skewers, are among the best street foods in the world. One day in Zanzibar, I decided I would introduce these delicacies to the world.

I've been in Africa too, OK that was 35 years ago but fresh food , juice etc. was a big no no unless you had a huge amount of time to spend at the toilet for the next days. Our Euro stomachs would just not resis the bugs people are used to in Africa.

  3. I noticed u kept saying "naomba" instead of "tafadhali" naomba means I beg n tafadhali is please. Other than that I always luv ur energy n the effort u put on learning the local n the national languages ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ
