International pressure on Putin stops his ATACMS retaliation strikes | Michael Bociurkiv

“Ukraine has long since the start of the war, claimed that it needs to have the capability to strike legitimately legitimate military targets deep inside Russia, military bases where those long range missiles that are destroying Kharkiv, another Ukrainian cities are.”

Western deterrence and red lines from Beijing have stopped Putin from…

  1. Kate, to my mind if Russia strikes a school or any other civilian building then Ukraine is then given the right to strike back "in kind" but may may do it when not occupied. Russia be warned if a hospital is struck that all hospitals ought to be evacuated for fear of a retaliatory strike. THIS SEEMS FAIR TO ME.

  2. what could he possibly do that he would not get it back ten times worse. these morons forgot they are dealing with a superior military of nato built to battle rusha, armed with to many nukes…it would be target practice

  3. Does Geriatric Joe write this stuff what a silly outlook on the Ukraine situation, America started this war and Russia is fighting for its existence, America wants Russia smashed. This means that Russia will do what it has to do to safeguard its existence, America is so far just setting this war up to be fought in Europe, and Europe loves being the Proxy sacrificial lamb.

  4. The destruction of Ukraine is literally ON PAR with the destruction caused by the Nukes in Japan at the end of the war. EVERYTHING is flattened, vegetation is denuded. The only differences are that the russians are doing it with conventional weapons and there is no radiation.

  5. It is unconceivable that there would be places on the Ukrainian border where enemy combatants could just walk over the border uncontested. Glad we don't have that problem here. Oh wait….

  6. I have to say – I just remembered the grain deals last year where there was ongoing negotiations. And you never hear about it because Ukraine has degraded Russian capabilities to the point that Putin cannot weaponize food shortages which undermines a key leverage point he had with the Global South and Africa. Now Putin’s deepening relations with North Korea is going to lead to South Korea directly arming Ukraine. He knew of that risk but he had no choice – he’s that desperate.

  7. If the Russians were in canada and attacked the usa how much would you spend on that defence and would you hit them before they cross the border and the stores of rockets5km from the border. the ukrainian border all most the same length. the UK wouldn't be able to defend luehansk.

  8. 26:00: "It´s the mindset of the Russian people that allows their government to do this type of aggressive behaviour". So, it´s not only "Putin´s war" but "Russia´s war"? Ukarainans have been saying this all the way. I can´t really judge since I´m not living there. The Russians that I know (living in Western Europe) maintain the opinion that it ´s the politicians who are playing chess with the average people. "Nobody", so they say, really knows what´s going on. An excuse?

  9. Putler is an obvious clown at this point. I have to think that most Russians are appalled at the half million dead on the battlefield, and rising. I have to hope that most of the population is against Putin, and that he gets "removed".

  10. You don’t think Putin will use nukes?

Assuming that is a huge risk for your 65 million ish population don’t you think?
Do you really want to find that out?

I’ll be just fine in my home down here in New-Zealand, but sadly we’ll probably have most of your leadership with us as well, while the average Brit gets vapourized or scratches around the radio active dust for some scraps to eat.
Relish in your confidence today because tomorrow it will be gone.
