Inside the Forgotten War in Darfur, Where the Killing Never Stopped

DARFUR, Sudan — The jagged peaks of the Jebel Marra mountains rise suddenly out of an endless stretch of desert in western Sudan’s Darfur region. Rebel soldiers, many of whom came here to fight against the government nearly 20 years ago, man their posts.

Today civilians here live in relative safety after decades of war, but these…

A team from VICE News are the first outside journalists to access the last rebel stronghold in Jebel Marra in five years. What we found is an area still completely cut off from Sudan and still functionally at war.

❤❤The war needs to be put out of business. That whole war business need to end.
Focus on your economics. You don't have time to be standing around. Every minute you've wasted demonstrating, could have applied to learn technology and industry, and working on improvements.
Turn away from war to sensible and productive enterprise. You have a lot of land that is rich in minerals and yet you are poor. It doesn't make any sense to me
❤you must 🛑 stop. You must quit this fighting. You beed technology and industry to upgrade or reestablish your economy and your economic infrastructure.😊

You land has vast reaources which couid be marked, minerais and rocks that couid be mined and sold abroad and you couid use the income to start a new and better economy.
You can do this much better in peace than in war. You want to live. You want to thrive. You want to prosper and flourish and be happy. Industry and technology combined with people workibg together for the common good, can make this possible. People must work harmoniously as teams and associates, and organizations to build shops.,Shopping and transportation. Roads, and highways, and trains and electricity 🔌 plants. And water desalinization plants on the coast of the Red Sea to transform that salty, undrinkable water 💦 into pure. Drinkable water. Then you need an aqueduct to transport the water throughout the country.

I believe that the Saudi Arabians have successfully done cloud seeding to create 🌧️☔😊.

❤ You really all must agree to stop this ridiculous fight, 😢😮😊❤. You have a gread deal of work to do which is being delayed needlessly because of the fighting. You have no time to waste. You must spend your time applying yourselves to learning. Learning how to use heavy equipment. Learning how to make the dry land fertile. Learn how to operate the 🖥️💻 technology. Put away those darn guns and tanks. Stop that silly nonsense. Don't be too proud to seek the aid of the Saudi Arabians who have already successfully mastered the problems of land reclination, agriculture,.
    ❤ Sincerely Me

Government 'denial' of service to Darfur. Janajaweed was an 'Arab' militia. Simplicities like this suggest this report is not objective, or entirely truthful.

Arabs are ultimately involved historically, no question. But I doubt most 'real' Arabs would call the Janjaweed 'Arab.' More like distantly connected to Arabs. I expect this is more a range war with ethnic overtones. The audience of this video is subjected to nothing less than condescension by the narrator. And condescension is the enemy.

Denial of service? More like the country is divided. Sure, Darfur is the poor half, but division seems to be the issue.

Why don’t they ever explain that the Darfar rebels chose to take up arms against Bashir, then the RSF was formed in retaliation. I’m not saying the Darfur rebels did not have legitimate gripes against the government, but this is why people should be slow to take up Arms, especially if you’re not prepared for a long war. Especially if you know you can’t win and the women and children will suffer more. Especially Muslims rebelling against the Muslim leader who established shariah.

Arabs are systematically wiping out Africans to turn Africa into Arab only region. They got successful in mostly all North Africa. Africans can’t even go to most of the Arab only North African nations or will get enslaved! No one cares about this largest ethnic cleansing in history.
