  1. Thank you to the South Sudanese people for having me in your country and thank you to everyone who donated and watched this series. It is surreal to think of the generosity of the audience here. I am feeling beyond grateful, you are saving the lives of innocent children and for that, I salute you. If you would like to donate, you can here to save malnourished children's lives in South Sudan: https://donate.unicef.org.nz/IndigoTraveller
See you in the next series, thank you. Nick 🇸🇸

  2. I question why the women are having children when the children starve.
There are so many people, if there were fewer people there would be more food.
    Are there no trees?
Why are they defecating in the water they fish in?

    So many questions.
The government should take their wealth and put these people to work making the best of what resources the country has. And westerners should stop sending money there.

  3. We don't talk about these countries as much as we should. Thanks, Nick, for shining light on these beautiful people living in disparity. You are keeping us apart of the conversation. We can all do more. You certainly are.

  4. This is unacceptable in the 21 century!!! And incredibly sad. Is the West helping or their politicians are just criminals too.
Is there nothing that the UN can do ?
And on the side note, i hope the money went where it was needed or was it stolen again?

  5. As bad as it sounds Stop sponsoring and donating to these poor people. They are living in hell – all you are doing is making them live like this for longer. Maybe donate some birth control instead 🤷🏻‍♂️?
All i know is i would of rather died when i was 2 or not been born at all than live like this😢..

  6. Life is hard enough here with EVERY amenity. This is hard to watch.

I know I'm just going to watch this, feel bad for a few minutes…then later I'll whine that my beer isn't cold enough.

I know it's not right, but I've been through this cycle many times!

  7. I'm amazed how advanced these people have become. It's absolutely mind boggling the advanced technology they have developed. I mean, a toothbrush manufactured on another continent being used by these Einstein's to polish sneakers is dumb founding. Why aren't these peoples mimicked around the globe? I just don't get it…

  8. I feel so bad for those people, especially the kids. My heart wants to donate money but my mind is convinced that the donated money rarely makes it to the people that need it because of all the massive corruption.

  9. Notice it’s ALWAYS white people that go to Africa, and bring attention to the plight of Africans. No Beyoncé, 19:11 Oprah, Obama, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Shaquille.😂 not a single one of the black elites that other black Americans venerate waste any time on Africa.

  10. What I love about your videos the most is that you treat everyone like a human being, and not like a sensation, no matter how different they are or what conditions they live in. You ask questions, shake everyone's hand, and learn their names. You don't get overly excited or surprised by something being very cheap (like some other YouTubers I have seen). You take time to properly interact with the locals not just to get the best shots but to actually understand and raise awareness. I appreciate that you don't try too hard to be chatty or funny, and you manage to keep it real. Thank you for your work.

  11. Your videos make me appreciate my life and how my first world problems are so insignificant compared to what these people go through on a daily basis. Thank you for sharing your experience.

  12. 1. He probably laughed about the war because they’ve become so desensitized to death that they think war is normal ….
    2. While in many countries 23 is a young man, 23 in many third-world countries is a GROWN MAN😆, that’s why he corrected you right away and told you “I’m not a young man” because that’s almost like an insult

  13. I was living there in Bentiu POC UNMISS Camp from 2013-2016 after then I make it to North Sudan in 2016. My family are still living there for almost 11 years now no see, it horrible. Goverment flooded our land cause they don't want Nuer Tribe to progress, our land is bless of crude oil and Natural Minerials in Bentiu.

  14. This is insane. Us in the Western world could never even imagine this happening to our countries, and yet people just live like this in South Sudan! Horrendous, and almost seems like stuff of fiction if it weren't so real!

  15. Their children are Absolutely Beautiful! The little smiles on their faces from something so small despite no spark in their eyes🥺. I wish I could adopt and love them all.❤️🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽❤️

  16. You are doing a great job Nick and I'm happy to be donating every month. We are also doing much to help the less fortunate here in South Africa as well, personally. If everyone who can spare some donations we would make the world a better place for all us to live. God Bless us 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

  17. I've always wondered what is your response when they ask for money? I feel like if you do then everyone will and it can go out of control
