I normally don’t comment on videos but for this I just have to. Tayo has shown his immense love for his country with this documentary. Instead of spreading the negative narrative he has stayed neutral and still ends a tragic situation with a positive end. This is documentary filmmaking at its finest. As someone in the entertainment business this has inspired me to use my skills to show positivity and change the narrative about my country. Thank you Tayo and the entire team.
Wow!! Although I am Nigerian from the northern part, I knew absolutely nothing about Borno state. The people even looked and sounded foreign to me. But this documentary really shed alot of light about our Northern brothers. The insurgents have really created a huge gap between the 3 major tribes. When you hear of gun men or heardsmen committing attrocities, you think it all the Fulanies or all the Hausas. Not knowing that they are the ones actually being oppressed by a few selfish people. You did a great job with this documentary. thanks for doing it.
Nigeria always like violence before the government start doing the needful. You can see how much these people were neglected until the insurgency

I have been in my family for the past 33 years back and many things have happen my father is 60s and my mum is 60s and my mama is a stroke patient for the 10years back and she have been with my parent….My viewers I perceive something from the shop my parent rented at Arulogun compound at Oje Ibadan oyo state Nigeria… there is one person that impose to my parent that they not allow me to visit them again I calm down and reason it for the last 4 -5years not only that he harass me and molest me…
Though I have decided to visit the police to report but my instinct tell me to go to the mogaja of the compound where the shop was located about it and he said that this man that I’m talking about is not there family that he don’t have a right to be coming to our shop or intervene to our family…my surname is Ajeigbe while this use to bare alfa ashimiyu he stay very near to the place..
There is an issue that happen between me and my wife and I said that I won’t be able to cope or something and that is when I jump in the shop and punch me on the lips…please I want to to tell me why and please I want you to tell me if you can give that can of instruction to your children at home sir/ma…
This same also beat my mummy and daddy but I due know maybe he has cast a spell on my parent…

I wish the people of Benue state who are displaced by the Fulani herdsmen militia will equally have the hope to go back to their ancestral homes and retake their farmlands

It hurts me as an African woman, it will take many years to stabilise these regions and it will equally take many years for people from these regions to catch up with development! It's a pity in this 21st century there are children who can't access basic education due to insecurity. May peace prevail in this area, hugs and more hugs from Kenya 🇰🇪
They breed a lot in Northern Nigeria, that is their major problem.. And Islam Religion in Northern Nigeria is Different from SW Nigeria..

Great video Tayo, Nigerians are very proud of you, and the way you tell stories even the difficult ones always put a positive light on the Nigerian/African situation, if this documentary was made by a Westerner, I know how much more terrible you would get to feel about Borno. There's a feedback I have for you though, if possible when someone is speaking a language other than English besides the subtitles, a voice over would be very nice, as not everyone wants to be fully focused when watching a video on YouTube, as some of us watch while doing other things. Thanks once again for being an amazing Nigerian.

This is touching for.me,.cos i lived there for more.many years and theoughout my stay there it was extremely peaceful it waa.after i relocated in 2005 that it went up in flames but i thank God peace has returned and as Christians we most interceed for NorthEast and the Country as a whole, the leaders also that they are.guided by Gods Spirit. We most up hold the peace by standing in the gap in prayer also through the other initiatives and structures that have been provided. Thanks so much Tayo

He was killed in detection by Bornu government and then highjacked from him due to his refusal to convert it into a terrorists organization.
Present Nigeria government and then Bornu government have hands in the formation of Boko Haram as a terrorists organization.
Were they carrying arms before their leader was killed in detection?. The answer is NO. So where did they get sophisticated arms from after the killing of their leader in detection?. They were only against western education before it was highjacked and turned into terrorists organization.
My pray is this may the cry of pains, terrors, agony, and blood never depart from the house holds of those that have hands in the creation of Boko Haram as a terrorists organization. Amen in Jesus name.

Damn I just subscribed….. thank you for this!! I was born and raised in Maiduguri and to this day i think about the good and happy times….i know its hard to believe but yeah there were really happy times before the terrorists came! Seeing some of these places you visited and feeling the nostalgia e.g (Monday market,The "welcome to maiduguri Gate etc) pure nostalgia cos i used to be in those places…feel really emotional watching this and like i said it makes me think about when i was still living there! Can't wait for the day I'd visit again…i know it'll be an emotional day but I'm looking forward! Thank you for this once again
