Inside a Super Rich Gated Community (Extreme Wealth Documentary) | Real Stories

It’s the new housing trend. Entire private neighbourhoods – sometimes spanning several hundreds of hectares and complete with luxury facilities, private schools and shops – all under extreme security and banned to non-residents.

In gated communities like MacDonald Highlands, residents can dine at private restaurants, play a game of…

  1. Diversity helps you stay anchored in reality and keeps you aware and connected to what is happening in the world, these neighborhoods create even more a social disruption, and a false ilusion of freedom. The residents do not seem to be aware that their freedom is limited… ….and they cannot be individuals with healthy ideas if they live there far from everything…….

  2. stupid idea so you isolate yourself from evreybody else, because you think you are better and you have to be protected from that? Such a sick mind set … Black mirror episode …

  3. After watching this I was overwhelmed with gratitude for what I have. I live in a pristine village in comfort and utter freedom. I gaze across the ocean to the snow topped mountains and Thank God for placing me there.

  4. Out of all of the houses and amenities all i would really want is the massages. I wonder if they have to pay extra or if that falls under the fee for the gym stuff. If its added in believe me i would get my $$ worth. Also would petition to have a chiropractor for after the massage. Give me those two options with some land with a stream and a house i build myself and I will be the happiest person on the planet. Oh wait a chef too. Yeah definitely a chef.

  5. So super rich people congregate in an area with "security gurads" and a "retired cop" and that makes them safe? More like feel safe. Seems like it would make them a large target. Like why rob a bank, you'll get more off these conditioned dumbos if you go in quiet and fast. Works from house to house after you loop the cams and take out the 1 guard at the one gate. Maybe they ahould get some livestock guardian dogs… 😂

  6. Looks like real life Desperate Housewives. I can just imagine all the gossip and one-upmanship with clothing, SHOES, cars, etc. Living in beauty salons… I doubt the marriages of these entitled flaunters last long or stay healthy, either. No thank you. A prison for the snobby rich. Gross. All those rules, fines, …so laughable. People ratting one another out or complaining about every single little thing. Larry, the big wanna-be. Yikes. Larry will be watching you… 👀 lol.

  7. When I was young my boss told me he only makes friends with people who add value to his life.

I completely understand why wealthy people don't mix with people who aren't.

It's not because they're snobs, it's because success comes from business networking, and who better to mix with than other successful people.

  8. OMG… this gated community in Las Vegas gives off serious stepford wifes vibes. I wonder if they have hidden cameras in the houses too?? How boring to live in such an artificial world where people police their neighbours. It borders on insanity. My 14 year old daughter would not be able to walk to her friends house 5 houses down the street! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦 And god forgive mefor having a dead leaf on my palmtree…. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  9. I lived in gated communities for most of the last 36 years.
There are many of those with reasonable priced homes ($400 000) or less.
The benefit for a single lady like me is that no one can harass me, no one can highjack my home while I'm traveling, no one can come to my door stealing my packages, no one can sneak in at night and rob me, no one can pest me to recruit me for Jehovah's witnesses. I don't need rec facilities, have rather my own pool. All of this for $80 HOA a month.
    What's so bad about that?

  10. I would rather live on my own plot of land where I am free to do as I choose surrounded by woods. Pick the gym and physical trainer of my choosing, go to the restaurants of my choosing, go to the spa of my choosing, go to the golf course of my choosing. I am lower middle class now and happier than ever. I dont always want to pay for amenities I might not use. If I am low on cash I would like to cut or cancel certain things out. We work on our yard ourselves. If we need help we pay for it once a year. Where I grew up the gym, beach, boardwalk, even tennis courts, grocery store, restaurants and school where all within walking distance without an HOA. It is Margate NJ. It is no longer cheap. The tennis courts are free. I dont waste money getting my nails done. There are hidden gems still left where you dont have to go into this type of environment. Ventnor heights is one of those areas
