With the dwindling state of the economy, insecurity might get worse under Tinubu’s administration. Nigeria must go back to the basics, equip the Nigerian police to combat the challenges of internal security and not the military

  1. The general knows what he is talking about. The other guest is useful to narrate the situation, but his knowledge of security is deficient when compared with a general with an elite pedigree. General Haruna made a very cogent point. The government is dysfunctional and must be made to work. Policing has to be expanded and equipped adequately to deal with the existing threat climate. He also emphasized that the command and control must be given to the governors. Someone in Abuja can not oversight operations in a country as vast as Nigeria.

  2. The north is in on this , you can't tell me that terrorist came in big numbers with bikes through roads that people can see them and no body called the securities of the movement , to take those kids and move out from the school will take more than one hour , and in all the reports no body have said how long the terrorist spent in the school.

  3. They allowed & promoted the terrorism to the extent that Buhari said a fight against Boko haram is a fight against the North just to destabilize Jonathan's govt. But the plan has gone out of hand 😢. There's a reason the general is retired, let him rest jare

  4. These terrorist are from boarder Countries in the North.
Most of the Terrorist come in from Niger 🇳🇪 republic because Nigeria 🇳🇬 is making life difficult for them in Niger 🇳🇪.
If we can settle our relationship with the Military leaders in Niger 🇳🇪, they will control the movement of these people thereby slowing the terrorist activities in Nigeria 🇳🇬.
Please understand that you can’t have peace when you’re Neighbour is hungry. Thanks 🙏

  5. This is the problem northern Nigeria has brought to the country, imagine the amount of scarce money that has been wasted on terrorism issues since this boko haram debacle began.
The elders in the north refuse to train their children well.

  6. These bandits or kiddnapperd or whstever name one decides to call them…are they ghosts!!! They just disappear into thin air with close to 300 persons…you got to be kidding me😮

  7. They're just relaxing playing politics by using the children to cover up. I don't believe them, the governor should do the needful and stop using the children to play politics.

  8. Shenaniganism is the order of the day with this government when travelling and spending gov money. They always compare with UK.
In the UK , the police combat terrorism , not the army.

  9. Only Zamfara and kaduna state is bigger than entire south east but Nigeria government send 60% of Nigeria Army to south east because of Igbos, while herdsman and bandits is massacre their people, this is just d beginning 😂😂

  10. Almost half of Nigeria military were send to South East😂,foolish govt, every where is an Army check point in south east, you will think ,there is war going on in south east ,While herdsman, bandits is killing and kidnap people in plateau, benue, kaduna,Zamafra and katsina state , we will know who has the last laugh 😂😂

  11. Taking care of the economy should help poeple to make the right choice and work instead of kidnapping innocents. At this point it should be clear that imf/worldbank are tools to make us look like fools. What the suggest for the growth of our economy is opposite what they do in the west. We need to subsidize petrol and many other things. Also no harm in getting the opinion of BRICS economist. We can see who advice is best and who cares about our interests

  12. what does the north want?
The north is doing everything possible to go back to prehistoric times
And the north will turn around and blame the south for its prehistoric state by choice.
The north in the spirit of Islamic brotherhood invited crazy fundamentalists all over west Africa to come feast in Nigeria.
Now these criminals are feasting on even their brothers that brought them.
