Can we talk about the description "black" we have adopted? I don't like the label "black". Why are we black and they white? my skin is not black, their skin is not white either. I cringe at the thought of my children thinking of themselves as black.
Most times, the color Black is associated with negativity and white associated with positivity. I would like to hear your thoughts on this.
We should do what the Chinese have done e.g abolish every sort of religion and fix our infrastructures then we can be able to get our confidence back to go back home and settle, I bet you if we have electricity, water system good roads, schools, hospitals and housing regardless how poor or rich you are that you will be guaranteed of council flat. This is our major problems in Africa today. If our government can adjust to this problems 99.9% of Africans in diaspora are going back. Including myself.

It is so disheartening to see all these educated folks with all their Fancy Degrees and positions but when they die, or pass away they don't have any life insurance. This is a such a critical subject.
Advice, get legal immigration status and stay on the right side of the law. Get an education, this is fuel to generating the initial wealth or foundation and be smart about that foundation. Educate your children to build upon on what you started.
It’s ok to give a little back home…it’s only human, but set limits on the handouts. Even better invest a little back home that way they don’t ask you for help all the time….I know it’s not easy. You have to be creative in making this work.
As you work your 3 jobs, invest in such a way that you will be able to live in UK/US/Canada independent of your children upon Retirement. You do not want to be a burden on your children. Even better set up your children to be able to inherit wealth in both UK/US and Africa.
Critical advice, listen and think like rich “white people”, not poor white folk, and keep those cousins back home at arms length.
