  1. Sonny’s Ethics are Admirable and he respects all Cultures, Traditions, Religions and Beliefs which is very much Fair enough and good. Bravo Brotha! You’re doing well and I’m a Fan from Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 (West Africa) but Currently Living in Cyprus 🇨🇾 (Europe)

  2. 10/10 on the yuck factor. Zero gag reflex, you would make a 🌈 man very happy. 3/4 of all of everything you ate would gag a maggot. Tape worm? Disintary? Aids? What was your gift?

  3. And that red rag . Is a street army's colors , and is dangerous to ware . I think It can get some folks killed or burned alive . Or even kid napped. Basically your become a enemy of to gangs rather than just one .

  4. One of the best episodes by far. Sonny’s personality and narration is the perfect blend of eternal curiosity, respect for culture/cuisine, mixed with comic relief (timing is always spot on). Thank you for sharing. I haven’t enjoyed a food review show to this degree since Anthony Bourdain. ❤

  5. Amazing video as always, but jemaat means congregation. The name of the deceased Torajan family member was Mrs. Dorce Tandi. This is my fave youtube channel since the pandemic. Again, awesome work! Huge fan!

  6. Hi Sonny, thank you for seeking greater understanding about Islam and Muslims. I kindly suggest seeking out the best scholars, including female scholars, to ask some of the more technical religious questions because unfortunately some people will give inaccurate or misleading information. I must point out that Muslim women do not cover because of the 'husband's authority' for any reason whatsoever. This is unfortunately extremely inaccurate. The point of Hijab, i.e. covering or modesty, is to please Allah, seek nearness to Allah, as an act worship and submission to God alone, not society and their expectations, including husbands. I know some Muslim men who prefer their wives uncovered in public but they do NOT have that authority because Hijab is an expression of the faith of an individual that the husband cannot interfere in. Hijab is also privatisation of our beauty, allowing us women to show our beauty to only our husbands i.e. the man of our choosing – not random strangers we meet when out and about. I'm afraid the Niqab (face covering) is not a part of Islamic Hijab. Historically women in hot countries wore it or the burqa to protect their skin from the sun at a time where sunscreen lotion didn't exist. It also protected them from breathing in the dust particles in the air kicked up by horses in dry countries. Islam does not require women to cover their face at all. We are also encouraged not to make haram (forbidden) what Allah has made Halal (permissable). Allah did not make women's faces or talking to men (in a normal, non-flirtatious way) haram. We can uncover our faces, we can speak to the opposite gender. Therefore it is misleading for any Muslim woman to suggest that they cannot reveal their face – that is not in line with Islamic teachings and the verses of the Qur'an. Thank you again for your efforts. Wishing you all the best.

  7. I live in Jakarta so there are many cuisines from other provinces/ ethnicities being sold here but when I go to the place where the food originates, they taste VERY different. It's like the locals pour their soul into each dish, undiluted by the smog of metropolis Jakarta.

  8. indonesia bukan negara muslim tapi negara mayoritas muslim.
ingat indonesia negara hindu budha adakah satu peninglaan sejarah muslim yg lebih lama dari hindu budha??
