I head off from Ilkley, deep into the heart of the Yorkshire Dales in search ion one of the best driving roads in England; the Buttertubs Pass.

  1. I live in Otley, next town over! I forget how lucky I am to be able to hit the dales in about 3 turns of the bars. That petrol station in kettlewell is never open haha, you went to my favourite petrol station though, the hot sarnies there are outrageously good.

  2. Ilkley is a town in the City of Bradford.

    Bradford is the…

7th biggest City in the UK by population546,400 to be exact.

8th Biggest City in the UK by area141.47 square miles (366.41 square kilometres) to be exact.

World's First UNESCO City of Film.

    UK's Fourth City of Culture.

Seven time Curry Capital of Britain Winners.

Birthplace and home of the Bronte Sisters.

Former Wool Capital of the World.

Unofficial Tea Capital – Birthplace of Tetley Tea founders, residence of Betty's Tea founder, location of 2nd ever Betty's Tea Room, and location of 2nd ever Taylor's Tea Room.

  3. If you had a thick straw and an empty tank, each gallon you add put straw straight in tank and….or liter, and mark a line. Release finger to put back in tank. I got a KLR 650 and was thinking of this as a back up fuel gauge.

  4. The north is just much prettier than the south. Devon is lovely and just as good and cornwall has the best beaches but nothing else about cornwall is that pretty other than the beaches.
The south east is just boring without much nature of much to enjoy imo

  5. Freddie if you ever run low on fuel in England again just head to nearest farm they will be able to help usually with selling you a little fuel to keep you going, you may even get a cuppa and cake 😊…Rich @thelakesbiker
