Most Russians are completely unaware of the level of deaths and injuries, and Putin and his Kremlin cronies certainly don't care in the least about them.
Just think about this: right before the war, Ukraine had an election that ousted Russian sympathizers from its government and created true democracy and Zelenskyy. And Zelenskyy won by building a relationship with the US. Both those things turned out to be best two decisions Ukrainians have ever made. That’s what’s keeping them afloat from being engulfed by Russia.
