Wow wow this is very interesting… we are pressured into changing our name . As a Muslim when we get married women don't change their last name we keep our fathers name although some women change .
Wow this is similar to my belief just certain things I see we can relate to. Like naming ceremonies in Islam we have naming ceremony. We name 7 days after birth we cut their hair we have food for the community also some other things to name a few . All of my children had 1 and their names are very very important so they can live up to that name . Very deep. Also the woman's head is sacred just as you said about your ori. I'm still watching but wanted to comment on this before it slipped my mind . ❤️ very interesting. I love the aftican spiritually and thanks for sharing
Woow… this is just too interesting. I wish it didnt end!!! Please drop this in series and guys follow “waa sere”
This is deep and fascinating.Your Ori is key to your destiny.Lovely name to give to a brand
So surprised to hear that Tayo is half Togolese.
The lady on the Christianity side was just thia to learn 😂🤣😂
Very nice and intellectual conversation…
This conversation is incredible. So much knowledge packed into this episode. I'm actually doubting that I'm a true Yoruba girl now as most of this conversation is news to me😅😂😂😂. Thank you for getting me curious and on a quest to know more about my culture ❤
An amazing conversation, I didn’t want it to end. Well done 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I love this Esu conversation. My grand father ‘may he rest’ use to offer the first handful of food before anyone eats to Esu. He’ll say ‘je ka fun Esu ni ti e’ 😅😂
Wow this is insightful and have learnt so much. Thank you 👏🏾👏🏾
Absolutely fantastic and educational podcast. Deciding whom to share this with is the hardest part!
I love this!!! It's the most educative podcast I have listened to recently. I tried explaining some of the ideas discussed with a friend about a month ago. She didn't get it cause my communication was crap😂. I am gonna hit the share button💯
What a fantastic conversation! Really enjoyed this.
So true the babalawos shrine is always ori based!
So much history
“Everybody with sense”😂
