  1. Dammm l.know a couple 💑 that moved from Africa to.Uk and the.papers was hard to.get so.the woman got in to a relationship with some old English man,she used tell him that her African was her brother. Lol

  2. I just thought about a movie that I watched some time ago. It starred Pat Attah and Rita Dominic. The guy went to the UK and left his girlfriend (Dominic) behind. Their mothers were childhood friends and had the idea that their children would get married. Over the years, this girl lived for this guy, she was the typical demure daughter in law – cooked and cleaned for her boyfriend's family, washed their clothes etc. Her only communication with the guy was through his parents who assured her that he would return and marry her. It was well known in her town that she was waiting for her UK based boyfriend. She rejected various suitors. She never went to school or had a job to better herself. Her personal growth was stunted. Meanwhile the guy met someone else and got engaged. His parents knew about it, but continued with the charade. The guy returned home and his parents encouraged the lady to move in with the guy. She soon found out that he had someone else but refused to return home out of shame. Imagine spending all those years stunting your growth as a person, whilst the person you waited for moves on with their life. The movie didn't end like that (Happy ending as the fiancee turned out to be a lazy snobbish chain smoker who couldn't cook; he dumps her for Dominic simply because she's a good cook and sang a song that his mother used to) but the point is still clear.

  3. I blame Nollywood and other movies for deceiving people about the realities of immigration and life overseas. People think that you can get a visitors visa, get to the country, get a well paying job (with your degrees/diplomas) and citizenship. Fact: you can't legally work on a visitors' visa – Australia is very strict on this and will deport if they find out that you are working on that visa. Employers are reluctant to employ people without the legal paperwork because of the penalties. The dodgy ones (cash in hand) will exploit you – they'll make you work for long hours for peanuts. Legal immigration, especially for permanent residency is possible but it's a long process (Australia).

  4. Your dramatic stories are hilarious thanks for sharing! I know someone who was in a similar situation. Hopefully people can watch your video and make better life choices for themselves.

  5. pipe your woman down!!!!! Phrankleen I wish people will listen to you. People leaving settled lives in Nigeria f0r the racism and uncertainties of the West. It never ceases to amaze me. So many sordid stories!!!!
