  1. Stricklands jab is different… you heard ddp acknowledge it and Dana… you also saw dricus post fight. Did not look like a dude that just won a fight. Very close fight but that jab needs to be scored differently, and it was landed quite a bit more. Yes, dricus has more power, but the power punches were few and far between when compared to the Strickland jab. If we’re looking at damage, ddp got busted up badly and could not stop Sean from landing that jab

  2. This scumbag win was giving to him by Dana White cause they were fighting in Canada, this is b s, this laud mouth didn't win the fight, so you're a champion in the United States and you got to defend it it in another country, I never care for the rule wheather is here or any other country.

  3. Strickland was robbed. You gotta be unquestionable better than the Champ and ddp just wasn't. This way you could argue that reyes won against jon jones, also adesanya would have lost some fights too this way. Sean got up without damage after every Takedown

  4. Strickland was getting all of this hype and I didn't understand why. He beat a out of touch Izzy and never defended the belt. I always kind of felt like he was going to lose his next title defense. He got a bit lucky that night with Izzy. Izzy wasnt the same guy.

  5. Cant understand how people believe that the reigning champ should win when there is a close call at the end of 5 rounds, so what you all are saying is the judges should ignore their scorecards and give the match to Strickland, bizarre!
So just to understand, how many points ahead after 5 rounds qualifies the challenger to have the belt taken from the champ? Or is it no split decisions are allowed when challenging for a championship? Hilarious! Its the reason they have 3 judges…

Great fight to watch, Strickland definitely won the 1st round and the last 30 seconds of the 5th round turned that round for him, but rounds 2/3 and 4 definitely goes to Dricus.

Whats also quite funny is people questioning the judges scorecards where all the judges where unanimous for DDP rounds 2 and 4, and round 3 = 2 judges for DDP and 1 for Strickland. End of the day DDP did enough to get the split decision vote.

  6. Strickland wasn't a champ Dana wanted! This was very, i mean very close fight, but not enough done by DDP to dethrone Strickland! Poor decision made by judges to my opinion!!!

  7. For all the confusion just look up Sal Damato hes one of the judges and he purposely gives the fight to the loser or he throws a 10-8 in he never scores a fight corectly it would have been a unanimous win for ddp but of course sal lmao. every controversial fight he had a part in it Also a mario judge that messes up alot of cards

  8. Du Plessis reminds me a lot of someone who's considered to be the goat of MMA. Back then the MMA community used to respect and admire Georges St-Pierre. Du Plessis lacks a little bit of ground game, but he's young and just getting started.
Nowadays MMA community calls this "weird and awkward". Pitiful, toxic community nowadays. You kids really love to hate.
Du Plessis will shock a lot of you guys.

  9. Of course the Strickland fans are now bitter and sour that the White African won – y'all bet on the wrong one and lost your money 😂 The belt is headed for Africa to reside there until the next title defense, a first in UFC history! Thank you DDP for doing us Africans proud 🎊🎉
