  1. In regards to IMF, hasn’t Egypt learned a lesson from Somalia. Ironically GCC were also making deals with Siad Barre – then President (1969 – 1991) – same time as the IMF.

  2. UAE & Saudí do have large American bases, Iran and Yemen don’t. Seems this brother is a strong Sunni that does not recognizes other branch of Muslims that are contra West.

  3. UAE and Saudis are Allies to the West, this brother refuses to see that, there is Axis of support to the West, which are UAE & Saudíes and Axis of resistance which are Iran, Yemen, Syria.

  4. But when speaking about Gulf States. Aren't they completely dependent on the Western States? I don't think that the gulf governments are any better than the US!

  5. Bolsen is shrewd intelligent And pondered……but hé struggles to justify… something Bad because it is not worse.
Well simply put, thé situation in Egypt is going from dire to abyssimal no matter who thé '' buyer'' is .
Since Mohamed Ali Pasha Egypt was groomed, by then Hegemonic powers…to beat Ottoman Turkey…this same pattern was carried on when Sissi's coup succeeded.
The dream of those Hegemonic powers IS to create an Economy based on manufacturing and industry who Can out perform the Turkish one.
Yet the structural issues of Egypt cannot allow that unless you have a direct management of your direct investment in Heavy and " sovereign- like" assets of Industry and trade .
I give you one little example , I am from Tunisia where the textile industry was so performing that Europe would outsource all its textile related production to Tunisia from the 70's to the 90's …..Comes Turkey with its better political Commerce/ Industry connection and a more flexible financial and managérial system….and they out performed making Tunisia a mère supplier of denim fabric and other low value -added items.
I am no expert and don't How it happened….but when I see Tunisian Housewives going to Istanbul to buy cheaper apparel for a business….I Can no longer deny that the Textile industry in Tunisia IS doomed.
Why did I give this example…..well because Egyptian " management ' lacks the will, the skills…and the ''mordant' that the Turks have …it is not ethnic but it is there it is mostly due to government régulations and the lack of ''patriotism'' of their applicants.
Now back to the " buyers" which are schooled in the best business practices and top management…and I mean here Saudis and Emiraties…..they have their vision….and one way to maintain their base- territory was some kind of " military alliance" with Israel…. October the 7th, proved Israël armament and hi- tech to be a bluff….Hence the Egyptian Military IS the second best they have….and here where the issues lay ….like what Bolsen says will they be coopérative enough to let go of some profitable sectors they hold in favor of the Gulf countries direct investies????? That IS the million dollar question.
El Sissi IS irrelevant ، it is the capitalistic top brass…..and some potential Egyptian ( Naguib Serawis) that the Gulf investies have to deal with.
In my opinion as a Muslim…I 'd rather see an internal " restructuring and adjustment'' to whom from the Military and Civilian mixed top C.E.O.'s should stay and whom should go.
A Big administrative réform including C .F.Os and other directors in Planning – Mining – Commerce – Industries and export ministries should be conducting.
The best Minds should have postions and power of décision….not the Most loyal to one " buyer'' or the other and definitely not the hierarchy.

  6. I hope that you get paid enough to be a tool in the hands on the Gulf states!
Everyone can tell the difference between the bought you and the real you.

  7. So are we supposed to be grateful that it is UAE rather than others?? How is that different? Are they going to rule it in the interests of the people or their own? If their own then they are no better than the rest.

  8. Salam Mr.Bolson, I am a Gazan and live in the west. I wanted your thoughts on the Palestine flag/kufiya ban in Saudi Arabia. Abdul-Rahman Al-Sudais labeled the Gaza war as a fitna. There was also a video of a woman at the Kabba waving a Palestinian flag and had it taken away by Saudi security forces. Do you still think the Saudi government has the Palestinian best interest at heart? I also want to know if there is something I am missing in context.

  9. Again, I find Shahid Bolsen's argument strange that Sisi oberthrew Mursi because he was going to.implement an IMF deal that will give access to IMF into Egyptian military businesses! Totally strange! The last person that would dance to IMF conditionalities is Mursi. Un fact, what SB is saying is rhat for the Egyptian military, IMF can ran roughshod over all of Egypt and lay its exonomy to waste as long military businesses are not touched. I think giving ezxuses to these leaders for their cruel hypocrisy is not.the work of a punlic intellectual

  10. I don't agree with the part that says S/Arabia and UAE are working to replace the western multinationals by interpolating themselves and their assets (money and companies) into an IMF-les deal. Where are these Muslim multinationals? What are their names? I do know that most of what you see in UAE has Zionist hand behind it. Why should these two countries involve IMF in any deal meant to liberate and protect a fellow Muslim country if they are not receiving orders from some quarters? Can't they go it alone: evolve their own fund, create similar, if same conditions a IMF and be on hand to make it work. I don't trust the Arab regimes. They are so scared of the West and it's junior brute partner in the Middle East because they know they can be toppled, and that if that happens, they wouldn't have the sympathy of their people – the same people they have teamed up with the West against to oppress, suppress and kill!

These regimes are a shame and Allah is deliberately exposing them for what they are. They hate Islam which is what has elevated them and they hate those who clamor for its reign. In oppressing and terrorizing Muslims, they are not different from the Zionists, with probably Qatar as a little exception.

  11. Thank you it’s already happened in Morocco North Africa in poor countries especially the Muslim countries that we don’t have bad education no hospitals no jobs for the young people we are already contracted 😞😞

  12. I literlaly don't care about saudi and uae economic independence or all that crap, they will still be the slaves dependent on west as long as they have this inferiority complex and wanting be more like the westerners. Palestinian people are being wiped out and the historic land of palestine is falling under zoinist regime and these ar nations are literally giftig it to them so much so that UAE and saudi is teying to acquire the rights of masjid al aqsa and its land so that they can gift it to the zoinist regime, the people in these countries are literally npcs and the armies nothing but paper tigers. I don't care about how many buildings they make or economically well of they are it doesnt matter if you dont have military superiority, scientific superiority which once muslims were the poineers in. These arab leaders are literally a trial and tribulation for the muslim Ummah same as pharoah or some other oppressive people i find zero difference between clown prince of saudi, That giraffe like prince of UAE and ataturk or shah of iran or similar figures. These people just wanna fill their pockets, have control and power throne that's all theat metters to them, they have even weaponised scholars etc to spread falsehood and corruption manipulating their already npc population more.

  13. I used to respect you , but now I have a feeling you are promoting UAE AND SUDIA ARABIA. How much did they pay you to be positive to them ? While you were saying as it was but not any longer?

  14. I am learning a great deal from you. I had the realization that this same system is used principally against blacks in the U.S. I don't know the stats but I am sure a higher percentage of blacks hold lifelong debt to U.S. corporations.
