Illegal Mining | Update on Vala Umgodi operations in North West

Acting North West Police Commissioner Patrick Asaneng has just given an update on ongoing efforts to clamp down on illegal mining in the province. This comes amid an ongoing investigation to find an alleged kingpin, who escaped after emerging from a shaft in Stilfontein.

  1. What are they still investigating? Don't they know who are the police that were on duty when he was taken out of the mine and the one responsible to transporting them? Those are the ones that know where he is

  2. It's an embarrassment to South Africa at large, this incident just shows how unsafe and unprotected we are even the very rescuers has been interacting with this 'tiger' it was well orchestrated.

  3. Police are corrupt, they know what happened, they have arranged that escape, and they will beat about the bush answering questions, you can just hear from this acting commissioner responds
