Only protein and no veggies at all. I just feel like it’s a small community but they’re hurt all of animals around them. Maybe they can grow some veggies to improve their meal I guess.
You're supposed to chew the honeycomb wax until you have extracted all the flavor and nutrients from it… it will get very hard and tasteless. When I was growing up here in the US they sold flavored chewing wax, in the shape of lips or whatever, as a candy.

My father was from Lima and my great-aunt and great uncle took me to Cuzco and Machu Picchu. I spent a month in Lima learning of my heritage. I had the opportunity to return and stay with a cousin, but, the time was not right. I hope to return someday to my "other" home. The people of Peru are incredible and strong and the culture and history is rich beyond imagination.

As I learned from 100s of american movies, this place is exactly one of those places from where various dangerous viruses/bacteria/ fungus infects the local population and then the world making people dead or zombie monster.
I find their belief system about dolphins fascinating. And I get it why. Dolphins are intelligent mammals.
I love wildlife, but I still eat meat and hunt. I regularly saw people who maybe could or should have been on assistance either just not know how to get it or felt to proud or like they where making it harder for someone more deserving. I saw them use so much of an animal that it taught me a lot. I’m thankful to have just a portion of that knowledge. Growing up poor in the middle of nowhere hunting and foraging was just pet of life. Get off work and maybe get a couple hours to hunt and at the same time forage as you go fir things like wild onions(in WV we called them ramps), ginseng when it was in season, and wild nuts and berries. Ending up staining my hands from black walnuts for a week at a time at least, lol. I understand hunting for food and hunting to help others out but in the states we follow what seems like every global sort of law that comes up. I’ve often thought that about how we get harped about plastic waste while other countries just look at you like you’re stupid. Even with animals from the ocean that seem to be protected from us but other places only eat the fin or harvest a small part of the animal and just toss the rest. Seems like there isn’t anything that every country around the globe agrees on…. Well besides straight white men are the enemy to every other person (although there are some straight white men who disagree with that!). I hope the forest provides all the necessities the locals will ever need. And that this world gets less complicated for everyone’s sake!
