Over 25 years living in New York City, New York State, of all places, one of the most LIBERAL cities in the United States and you are still wiping butts as a Certified Nurse Aide. Please move up the work (labour) ladder as a Bachelor of Science Nursing, Registered Nurse.

What some Ghanaian people don't understand about taking family to nursing homes isn't just about time. They may not have capabilities required to deal with their conditions. There's a lot of physical, emotional challenges, lack medical expertise, and psychological issues to deal with.
Some people also don't understand is that old people face abuse quietly in their own homes in Ghana. An old friend had to move back after finding out this was happening to her mother.

DJ, there is no private hospital Ghana that has all the machinery and the equipment to treat major diseases. Those private hospital may have the equipment to treat manor diseases. The machines in government hospitals abroad cost billions of dollars because the really invest in their hospitals because all the politicians also receives treatment from these hospitals, unlike Africa where the leaders are always running abroad for medical treatment. Also no hospital in Ghana has all the specialist to even diagnose their patient.
