It will also deepen the grossly unequal system we already have, which will affect social stability.

  1. This beautiful Dr. Ikokwu is like Chimamanda Ngozi-Adichie, both national treasures in their own right. Anyway, this country needs to restructure or stop wasting time moving in circles.

  2. Any further increase in pump of petrol in Nigeria, would mean a declaration by the President that he really doesn’t know what he is doing with the economy and lives of Nigerians. In the event of that becoming the case , then Nigeria will have no alternative than to ask the President and his administration that their time is really up for them to PACK AND GO !! This is because the President do not have the liberty to nail Nigerians the ways it pleases him with unbearable socioeconomic strangulation and killing physical and monetary policies!
There are boundaries , yes , definite boundaries beyond which Governments dare not reach/ exceed in its bid to manipulate the economic situations especially as they inconvenience the populace!
    Dr. Emefo Festus Nwabueze

  3. What do you expect from 419,yahoo,Jacobite incompetent and murderer kind of a government? all liers will have their portion in the lake of fire ,let them continue to build their foundation on an abstract object and see wether it will stand, for sure nobody spends a dime in heaven.
Remember a personality that emphatically voice out that nothing can destroy his wealth, how much of the wealth still remain till date?,time will tell.

  4. …repeatedly our Government has failed, every level of of government taking in money and no accountability. Also disturbing that Fed Government pretend not know the effect of silent devaluation of naira on salaries and allowances of workers….!!

  5. The same political class are suffering from the political thinking they have against one another.. until they changed from the political ideology and way of thinking of today and not them thinking of the future of their own self after they leave office

  6. Small thieves are going to jail while the big thieves like Buhari and his gang of bandits who supposedly served in his criminal administration will be enjoy the loots somewhere in Dubai. The zoological republic of Nigeria is doomed

  7. @Dr constance well said…We the people are the government and it starts with the people supporting the same compromised system..It's just the mindset of an average Nigerian citizens

  8. Please Madam educate us on how much it cost to produce a barrel of crude oil in Nigeria, knowing fully that these oil wells were drilled in the 60/ 70. Secondly, how much does it cost to refine a barrel of crude oil in Nigeria..

  9. “Nigerians” would rather buy fuel for a million per litre than to say the truth about this government. If Jonathan was president I’m sure “Nigerians” would have had his head on a spike by now. Pastor Enoch Adeboye I’m talking to you.

  10. Dr. Constance Ikoku is my best analyst, she's worth her mettle. So simple and pure in her analysis, I look forward every single day to having her address Nigeria's humongous issues.

  11. She forget that we are not going to have oil forever. Our leaders and government don't see the future. It is time to let the fuel subsidy go forever. We have to do it now. We have to face the pain now. Oil has no future.
