  1. The quality of staff at the polling stations is unbelievable…too slow and inefficient….the IEC should employ staff according to the demographics of the Voting districts….some of the staff can't even read English properly 🙆

  2. My children come back home yesterday to cast their vote because of section 24,then tomorrow are going back to work and serve the community with a DIGNITY as public servant our Government ANC ANC for life

  3. All my three ballot, next to my home, in primary school where my children started school before before proceeding to high school after to University, l cast my vote there for ANC ANC ANC

  4. IEC my wife and I registered ONLY at one place for voting however when we went to vote at that particular voting station we were send away telling us we did not register at that station even though we also voted at that very station in 2019 ) in the end however we found out our names were computerized at a different voting station NOW ( You are telling SAfricans we must abide to section 24 A ? ( You couldn't follow your own rules' if such a thing happened to us how many others had the same problem

  5. For anyone tuning in just now, to summarise what was said….This was a waste of time… Alot was said but nothing was solved at the same time.🤞

One thing that happened in the FS. Healthcare workers and patients taken to a voting station near the hospital via hospital transportation were turned back because of Section 24A,i.e. they were not registered to vote at that particular station as they didnt apply for section 24A.

    ⛔Issues regarding this⛔:

    1. Firstly ,it is important to note that the registration deadline for section 24A was on the 17/05/24. So if you get admitted to hospital any day after this you cant apply for section 24A even if you wanted to.

    2. Inter-hospital transfer of patients whether it be from primary health care, to secondary and tertiary health care institutions occurs frequently where patients are moved from the health care institution in the town in which they reside in order to get the best level of care for their particular health condition.

The conundrum here is that you have a group of people in a predicament they couldnt have foreseen nor prepared for, whose rights are now being infringed upon?

Why are these people, who just like every other south african have waited 5 years in order to have their say on who the ruling party of our country should be, have to be turned away because of things that are way out of their control.

This is an absolute travesty and a farce really. There is far too much at stake for such logistical errors to be made. The IEC and all relevant parties involved should do something about this.
