Idris Elba's version of the character of kunckles Is definitely my second favorite In my opinion, I feel like he's definitely way up there with Dan Green's kunckles from the 4kids era.

Idris is a very down to earth guy. I saw him a few times at Pinewood Studios and he did the head nod thing at me when he walked past me. He also ate at the canteen with everyone quite often. He is a national treasure. You can tell he is just a regular guy.

Idris Elba has been a very good choice of who should be voicing Knuckles in the Sonic films that Paramount got contracted by Sega to produce. That actor did a great job at making Knuckles show a good amount of humor in Sonic 2 while also making that ecidna be as serious as he was shown to be in his debut game. That African/American accent helps a lot in how to make what that character says on screen sound serious instead of making Knuckles sound weak and dumb. He helped bring the better version of Knuckles back, and I'm impressed with that.👍
